Karina and I would like to place on record our thanks to Sam, Daniel, and all the team at the Golf Club for their efforts in hosting our wedding reception on Saturday 22nd October. The food for the afternoon sit-down meals was excellent, and very well received by our family and friends. Equally excellent and very well received, was the evening buffet. We would have no hesitation in recommending the venue to anyone looking to arrange a celebration of any kind. Once again, grateful thanks to Sam, Daniel, and the entire team.
Love playing on this course. Plenty of facilities. Bar, restaurant and pro shop! Grab a sausage roll after your game! They are amazing!

Delightful surroundings and friendly helpful staff. Only downside we left our bikes at home because written instructions said they were not permitted on the golf club or in Burleigh park during the horse trials. A number of people have ridden past our motorhome so far. I hope that they will be stopped from doing this before the end of the weekend.

Golf course is good. Some issues with greens and inability to book at weekends/ people pre booking then dropping out, same old names. I have been a member for a year until last month, I’m not sure anyone spoke to us. Even the pro shop was hard work. Unfortunately this place falls into the clicky old man golf club category I think we all know the type. Old grey hair guy in shop optimises this and is notoriously awkward. He has been rude to use before without knowing us and again today. Charging full rate £35, even though i came with a member as a guest , admittedly I had to go on in the group after because it was so busy and also knowing full well I used to be a member. It transpires a lot of other members feel the same. Shame as I would have rejoined, there were 4 of us considering it, but the arrogant reaction in the pro shop means we all agreed we would prefer to pay as you go and play elsewhere. Plus side - Bar staff are lovely and younger pro’s seem nice. Possibly just a rotten apple but hey !
Burghley Park Golf Club was better than I expected, I'd heard that recently it had been in not good condition, but I found it to be ok. The food was very good, and the staff were very efficient and friendly, well stocked Pro shop and lots of demo clubs available. I'll be going back to try some.
Enjoyed an excellent lunch here on Sunday. Great food, we were very well looked after and excellent value for money. There's a good atmosphere in the clubhouse, not at all stuffy and relaxed dress code. They welcome non-members.
