Unfortunately this Burger King has not reopened since the pandemic. A real shame as it was very handy in the town centre and plenty of seating.
No latte coffee available. Burger warm and forgot my cheese, but chips were nice. Had to wait ages for order, as only one person serving at 1040 in the morning. Poor lad was trying his best, but help from the staff I saw upstairs would of been nice.
To my surprise I do not often choose Burger King but was feeling peckish. The staff seemed low motivated and lack of botherness. The food quality follows the same as you have to have passion at what you do or you so not give the quality. The value and menu choice were much better and a pretty clean venue. It's person's choice of taste and quality and for this I can say its not for me.
Having read some of the reviews I felt it only fair to comment as it's my local BK.The food is fine, although I do prefer the cheese in burgers to be slightly melted. I do feel sorry for the staff because they all seem to be young and neive. They do tend to look like they don't want to be there, but in my experience if your staff are treated right then they are more productive. Obviously a problem with the management!
Awful. Went here week before last with my mum. Asked for 2 cheese burgers, one chips, tea and a coke. No offer of milk or sugar so had to go back to counter. Burger was so cold I had to return it. I waited 10 mins for a new burger. It had been cremated in the microwave. I've always been given a fresh, hot burger if cold in the past. Two bites and only place it was fit for was the bin. Chips weren't hot either but couldn't be bothered to complain. Girl in kitchen gave me daggers when I asked server to sort burger out. Whole thing was yes cheap, but absolutely a waste of money. Tables were filthy and I had to ask for ours to be cleaned. wouldn't rate this place at all. Sorry. It's not the first issue I've had in here.
Busy but not too bad. Didn't have to wait long. Served by a person which is better than trying to find your way around an order screen like the other place. It was clean where we sat, and food was good. Overall a good visit.
Polite service from the young lady serving us, we ordered : Whopper and Angus Meals with chips and fizzy drinks, the meals arrived in no time sat down to eat we found both portions of chips warm at best but we were starving so they were eaten in five minutes then it was time for the burgers now here's the plus - both were tasty and fresh could have been warmer/hot the combination beef burger with fresh salad, crunchy onions, gherkins and mayo made up for only being warm, so that's why only 3 stars, a hotter meal would have made this a 4-5 star review, maybe next time. ps the restaurant was not busy when we visited.
Got here at 9.11 for one sausage muffin. It's now 9.21. No one in here, nothing ready. No surprise when I walked passed McDonald's it was really busy and lots of food ready to go!!! 9.23 took it back for refund. Muffin stale, sausage rock hard. Disappointed is an understatement!!!
After years of not having a Burger King, i thought this would be a nice treat for the family. But i got home to find parts of my order was missing, chips were cold and our 3 drinks were flat. I rather had just cooked a meal!!
Hardly any downstairs seating which is normally taken up by the locals drinking cheap coffee and not buying food. If you sit in their usual seats be prepared for a death stare! Kind of amusing to see the guy behind the counter with a beard with an hair net over it though! Burgers are fine but be aware if you opt for an XL burger it's only just about warm. Obviously not microwaved for long enough.
