Great range of products, decent prices on most things, friendly staff - a huge improvement on the old Homebase that used to be here.
The shop has just opened a few weeks ago. It is well stocked and well arranged. Staff are nice and helpful. Very reasonable prices. It is really pleasure to browse through the shelves to find what you are looking for. There is a parking as well, but make sure you display either free 30 min or paid £2 ticket which, later will be reimbursed in the store.
Went today. The staff were fantastic when I asked for an item. There were plenty of people offering help and nothing was too much trouble... a great stock of everything. I only wish our Staines one were as good cos it's rubbish at the moment
Honestly really don't understand this place. It has some nice stuff but the warehouse is laid out terribly and they have 10ltr tubs of paint on shelves above head height! probably more of a personal issue as I work in a warehouse, so seeing that really stressed me out! Staff are friendly and attentive the layout just doesn't seem to make much sense.
It was my first visit and I only gave it 3 for the time restriction given. You only get 30mins free then it's £3 and i was so conscious of time I could not enjoy going down each isle and seeing what's what. So I got one item and left.
I really enjoyed a wander around the new shop in Walton on Thames, it was rather inspirational. Very colourful, with an unusual take on home improvement hardware shop meets DIY shop loads of paint available, screws galore.. I can see bannings warehouse doing well out of me in the coming months!
Thanks for all your reviews The biggest issue seems to be the car parking The store is unique in that it sits adjacent to a high street and shopping center and restaurants The car park is simply not big enough to offer free parking as the genuine customers wanting to shop at the store may not be able to do so Whilst we appreciate your comments regarding the free 30mins parking, the car park across the road does not have any free parking We ask all customers paying the additional £3 after 30minutes to please redeem it back in store with a qualifying purchase We don’t want any genuine store customer to be disadvantaged whatsoever I hope anyone reading this will now want to spend more than 30mins experiencing our store and don’t forget face paints, crafts at the weekend as well as the famous bunnings sausage sizzle, all moneys go direct to the organization running the event
far far better than the homebase it has replaced. friendly staff and plenty of them, tons of diy products and tools, good prices. no longer need to trek to b&q!
The staff make this store. Always helpful and when I had a large item to put in my car I didn't even have to ask for help, they even helped remove all the packaging. Not many places like this.
First experience wasn't great, bought a tool box that the handle broke on first time we used it. Return process was ok, place is very dust and needs a deep clean.
