Good restaurant with decent prices. The service was a little bit slow and the steak was not at the perfect rare point l, but it was a good dish. I'm still looking for the best steak in London.
Delicious tomahawk steak, good wines, very lovely service, particularly one of the waiters was incredibly kind, funny and made the night better than expected.
Over priced steak house. I really don't mind paying this price if u really give me what u written on the menu. We had a sharing dish of 4 different cuts of steaks; rib eye, sirloin, rump and fillet. I doubt the steaks are really from Argentina and if they were, I rather have beef from Lidl. I know it looks cool to serve on a iron plate with charcoal underneath to keep them warm....but.... Think about it, let's say u want them medium rare, assume the chef cook them perfectlythe first one u have is what u asked for. but then when u have the second one, it has been cooked for another 10 minutes on this hot plate, medium now. And by the time u have the last one...... good luck. What we did was take all the steaks to our plate and left the meaningless parsley garnish on. Chimichurri sauce.... just enough for 2 dips, thank you. Maybe my expectation is too high..... Anyway wouldn't come again/recommend.
It was a nice change to not be frequenting a chain restaurant. The fillet steak was excellent, the wagu steak was mediocre, as was the soup, which lacked flavour unfortunately. Live music in the background set the mood, which was relaxing and welcoming. Good to see it was pretty busy, will definitely give it another go in the future.
While the staff is quite nice here, they aren't very attentive. Tables are also quite close to each other. The breakfast options were great, reasonably priced, and perfectly cooked, so that's a big plus. However, the menu advertised freshly squeezed orange juice, yet they served me vile orange "nectar" from a carton that tasted like it might have once imagined an orange in a dream, and wanted to charge me £3.50 for it. Disgusting. They did take it off the bill when I returned it undrunk, but even trying to serve that while the menu claims it's fresh is just extremely bad form and unacceptable.
Enjoyed a great dinner with my family at this place. The steaks were delicious and made to order. Kids meals are good size. Good coffee and desserts.
The food is outstanding, the place is cozy and comfortable and service is good as well. They've got a few Argentinian beers to compliment your lunch, as well as nice desert menu. Overall recommended place if you're near Greenwich park / Cutty Sark area.
The meal was amazing. We had the Buenos Aires Plato Mixto , which was made up of four different steaks, and also the Humita a la Olla, which was my favourite, and lastly the Tortelloni de zapallo. The environment was amazing, and the staffs were polite. The steak was perfect and overall had a great time. Would definitely be going back for another bite. Well worth it.
Consistently excellent, one of the best restaurants in Greenwich. Absolutely love the black sausage starter. Really good steak and Malbec. Fantastic service, had a really good evening.
Extremely disappointing and uneatable meat given the main selling proposition is Argentinian meat, yet this was actually the terrible part. We had the mixed platter that included filet, rib eye, rump steak and sirloin, each one of them was hard to chew as the fibers of the meat were not tender, similar to those from an old animal or cheap quality. Not only the meat cuts with dry fibers were hard to chew, but also full of chunks of hard nerves and fat that I had to spit and roll in the tissues. Moreover, as I was chewing one piece of meat, I discovered a very tiny yet very hard white translucent spine… The steak platter cost a hefty £56 given the bad quality, definitely a ripoff. As a comparison, Macellaio restaurants have fantastic fresh quality cuts and perfect cooking at similar pricing. The chimichurri sauce was the other horrendous experience that made me nearly throw up at the first taste as it was overflowing with nauseating oil that had literally burnt my esophagus and persisted in my throat with reflux for hours thereafter. The sauce was obviously not fresh and dubiously homemade, but rather alike to a pre-prepared powder-like dried mix that some kitchens buy and finalize by dripping it in oil… This is really a shame as we were expecting an Argentinian meat feast with a striking full body Malbec at a beautiful venue with garden and veranda, wines have been of good quality yet not overpriced, and starters/sides very good as well. I do not however recommend in a million as the meat should be their unique value proposition, so such poor quality is not acceptable, especially given the premium prices to be paid for an appalling meat quality - dreadful meat experience. Burnt money. Needless to say, we will never return unless they undertake a radical transformation of quality their food supplies, quality of the chefs’ brigade, and managerial style and mindset.
