Whether you want to enjoy dinner and a pint after a trip or stay here for holiday, The Buckley Arms is the very best choice. I had nice and very authentic Chinese food here. Even though I had an early start to the day, a delicious full English breakfast is provided. Room with dedicated refurbishment is nice and clean. I will definitely stay with them again and highly recommend this place to all of you!
Lovely hosts, beautiful hotel. I'm not one for Chinese food but 7 minute walk to the Red Lion pub had more than enough to choose from and extremely welcoming! The hotel breakfast was cooked fresh and full engligh woth choice of yogurts, cereal etc and yea coffee. Sir Edmund Buckley room was amazing and had champagne waiting for us with a huge corner bath and separate shower with full TV great value for money and very warm rooms. There's much more especially the views!! If I had to pick at anything And I'm picking hard there was X2 standard tea bags and X2 standard coffees. Value for money...DEFINITELY Views....UNBELIEVABLE Catering....Can't knock the breakfast at all. Friendly...100% Room....PERFECT In every way I had such a good night's sleep, we're hunting for the same mattress! Hotel decor....beautiful Pub IS WALKING DISTANCE I had bad knee and I walked it fine There's another pub 10 mins drive. Would we go again??? Yes If you're thunkin...should we? Then YES it's totally worth it. I Rooms: 4 post bed and huge bath. Dyson hair dryer Coffee-making machine and smeg kettle. Beautiful view from window. Walkability: 7 min walk to Red Lion 10 min drive to other pub. Food & drinks: Breakfast was perfect
Every aspect of our stay exceeded my expectations! The staffs are amazing and the room has been comfortable with incredible views. The Chinese food is definitely authentic. Would highly recommend for friends, couples and families, especially outdoor adventurers!
Exceeded Expectations, hotel and staff 5 The view is stunningly beautiful! Recently stayed with family at The Buckley Arms Hotel, my personal first time in Wales. From the moment I stepped into the hotel and was greeted by the staff, I knew I was in for a delightful stay. The staff gave the warmest welcome, our room was impeccable and our dining experiences from the Restaurant very delicious Asian food. Zou was one that set the bar for hospitality! I also recommend the whiskey bar with hundred of whisky from the worldwide. Very relax day there.
Went there for a meal one evening. Pretty basic menu, a mixture of British and Chinese food. Friendly staff, but the room was freezing, and made it quite uncomfortable. Food was tasty, but main was on a small plate, with no room to add the rice etcService: 3/5
Went for an evening meal. Staff friendly and polite but food was really basic. Reasonable for the price though. Unfortunately the room was really cold so the meal went cold quickly and so did I. It was okay but I won't be rushing back.Rooms: 3/5
We stayed here with my wife and my little boy . I can’t recommend this place enough. The host absolutely hospitable and such a lovely breakfast and dinner is absolutely amazing ..they were always make sure that everything is alright and frequently asked if we need anything . And the view from the window was another bonus view of mountain was spectacular… definitely we will use them again in the future
Literally the best thing I’ve ate all my life had lamb stir fry with my family absolutely brilliant. Lovely people and lovely beer aswell all of us were happy. Only if they moved into Dolgellau they would have an amazing timeRooms: 5/5
This hotel was a wonderful find, absolutely lovely lady running and owning it, nothing was too much trouble, far exceeded my expectations with unexpected extras, coffee machine, high quality yogurts and other foods for breakfast, huge bathroon monogrammed bed linen. Fantastic viewsService: 5/5
Came here yesterday for a meal out and a drink. Didn't stay at hotel Great food, lovely portions and very friendly staff! Would easily come here again when I'm the area again!. Would recommend for sure.
