Came here for lunch with the other half after a morning trip around Deeside. The food was very tasty and well presented. The staff were extremely friendly, however, there weren't enough of them to deal with the number of customers. There was also a distinct lack of any form of queueing system when it came time to pay. When we eventually found our way to the till it took quite a while because all the staff were busy bussing plates around. Overall I would go back, but only on a quieter day.
Absolutely stunning food, service and ambiance! We loved the veggie dishes, the soups were full of flavour, delicious sourdough bread, tasty coffee and gorgeous selection of cakes. Prices are reasonable. Very friendly service. Vegetarian options: Great choice of veggie dishes!

Great wee niche cafe/restaurant. The food is all fresh and from sustainable sources. I had the twice baked parmesan souffle, it was delicious!! Now, I'm no great lover of salads rabbit food but the accompaniment for this dish was just great, tasty, crunchy. Tina had the coastal board and she was over the moon with it. Reasonably priced and sitting outside, in September, in Scotland, is a definite bonus.
Well hello folks travellers friends Barry allan here reviewer and as you will know huge foodie what can I say about the bistro my friend cannon lynsay and I popped by and I have to say it was only for cake and coffee but the coffee so lovely and the cake mmmm lovely fresh chocolatey cake it was fabulous but the thing that really made me smile and will ensure I go back for a proper meal was the two lovely lady's serving us they were so very lovely and friendly I accidentally dropped the heart adorning my cup into my coffee haha no problem it was fixed in an instant they were so nice and we really enjoyed the lovely surroundings and views it was such a nice place and I will definitely go back so if your in banchory pop by for a really relaxing warm friendly time thankyou lady's Barry allan Vegetarian options: Plenty an excellent choice Parking: It's perfect Dietary restrictions: Something for everyone
Excellent establishment. Menu amazing. Shop with some interesting items.Food: 5/5
You can expect good coffee, tasty food and some wonderful cakes. The staff have always been excellent and the cafe caters well for those requiring gluten free. My one disappointment is that they no longer do the boards as part of their menu.
Tasty food. We had the spicy macaroni and Shakshuka dishes, both delicious and served with bistro salad delicious and bread. Dairy free milk alternatives were available for coffee, which was a bonus. Good options for vegetarians. Staff were very friendly. Clean toilets. Atmosphere was buzzing as it was Sunday lunchtime. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
