Main hub for buses going all across the UK. Very busy station. Sometimes there is a long queue. Need to pay if you want to use the bathroom. Costa coffee, Greegs are on site for grab and go. Overall a good station. There is also a passenger information ℹ area where you can ask questions. Lots of screens to tell you the schedules of the buses.
If you're travelling in Glasgow . You're most likely going from Buchanan or to Buchanan.nIt is a very busy station located close to one of the universities in GlasgownThere are buses linking to the Glasgow airport, I believe every half hour or less.nIt also links to Edinburgh, and I believe people living in Glasgow and working in Edinburgh make use of this station.nIt also has buses linking to other parts of Scotland and England.nIt is relatively well organised and kept clean.nThere is a help desk. And if you need coffee before your trip, they have you covered with Greg's and Costa.
Generally clean for a place with so much foot traffic. I went there early in the morning at 4Ish and felt safe. There's always vehicle movement in the area so relatively safe as well. Direct buses to and from the airport available at 10 pound.
My home from home. Spent over 26 years coming and going from here. Recently had Banes Bakers, Costa coffee & Subway added for more choice in eating..
For only bus station in Glasgow, the information desk should be manned entire period Station is open. Stop referring people to go online. Not everyone who passes through the Station speaks English as there first language. Some are not great with technology. Common sense needs to be used. Information desk must be manned. Or what is the point of having it.
