Visited this restaurant whilst travelling along North Wales. Lovely little spot which has been blended into the landscape well. Didn't make a reservation during Monday lunch time, however we were still able to get in. I'd recommend making a reservation though, as after an hour or so the restaurant filled up. We shared the bread, which tasted fantastic. The main courses were mainly fish dishes with one steak option. The food was presented well and tasted great, so good in fact I forgot to photo our main courses! Would highly recommend this restaurant and believe its what the area has needed for a long time!
Me and my family had a wonderful meal here. Our food was delicious and the staff were very nice too. The only thing I would change is the tomato sauce. It tasted bbqy and I didn't like it. But overall the meal was very nice. Would recommend and would come again.Food: 5/5
We stopped for an impromptu visit and the staff were very accommodating. The food was excellent, really enjoyed it, worth the crippling heartburn. We both had the risotto, a vegetarian dish. We asked if they could do it with crab meat, which they did for us. Lovely flavours, very reasonable from a price point. Aside from that, the ambiance top notch, second only to the beautiful sea views Vegetarian options: From what I can remember, there was only the risotto which was vegetarian, but the menu itself was concise. The risotto is excellent Kid-friendliness: I'd say it's not child friendly. I'm sure they'll accommodate, but it's finer dining and I'd not appreciate being around children in that environment Parking: Porth eirias had parking available, I'd say 2/3 full when the restaurant was about half full on a lunchtime visit at Christmas Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible with level thresholds on the motorised doors, disabled parking available too. No steps whatsoever
Wonderful restaurant with nice beach view. Very delicious food with special made sauce on every starter and main dishes. A really good choice of celebrating my birthday here with my loved one. Can’t wait to visit again.
Visited for the lunchtime menu. The actual dining area is very nice, the view is exceptional. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. For me the food was not 5* and in my opinion over priced.
We had a lovely dinner! Food was excellent and the staff very friendly. We loved the atmosphere and the view of the beach. Highly recommended!
Great location, good portions, but digestive tract still left in the chilli prawn starter is a school boy error and pretty off-putting.
Very bad value for money. The photo shows what I got when I ordered the "Full breakfast". Nowhere else in the UK have I seen such a small breakfast being sold as a full breakfast. I had to pay additionally for toast! The staff were very friendly and the coffee was very tasty. If you sit next to the window, you get a good view over the sea. Otherwise I would have rated this place 2 stars. I won't be going back.
Love this restaurant it's such a great asset to Colwyn Bay. Food is always beautifully cooked. Service rapid and pleasant. Great view of the beach. Menu changes fairly often. What's not to love?Food: 5/5
Excellent breakfast in smart cafe on the beach front. I advise booking as at 10am on a weekday they were fully booked inside. I got a seat at the bar which was fine. Full breakfast is very tasty. Also had the added benefit of free parking. My only very small gripes are.. An extra 1.50 for toast is harsh and to my taste their coffee blend is too bitter.. As I say just small gripes that meant only 4 stars but neither detracted from the overall pleasant experience helped by very friendly staff.
