"Surf, sea and whistling sands…Bring the crew to the family site of Bryn Llan Leisure. This lovely little Llŷn Peninsula site is a couple of miles from Porthor or the Whistling Sands, a long length of beach hailed by the Bryn Llan owners as the best on all the peninsula the whistling comes from the sound the sand particles make when walked upon. There are spectacular views from the site on a clear day you should be able to see all the way to Ireland. From surfing, kayaking and boat trips to serene islands and traditional fish and chips, golfing and shopping, there is something for everybody."

Great holiday cottage, but very busy with campers passing by the windows looking in as they go to the camp shower blocks & toilets next door. Noisy during the night with it being a gravel path as campers pass. No washing machine in the cottage which was a pity. Other than that we had a lovely time here at Bryn Llan.
Fabulous site. Excellent pitches. Lovely family run site. Clean toilets/showers. Tasty food. Great bar. Been twice this year. Will be returning again next year. Short drive away from many lovely places for a day out. Aberdaron has a beautiful beach, also lovely little pastry shop as well.
This is a great site. It was in a perfect location surrounded by lovely beaches. There is a Bar on site that serves Breakfast in the morning and evening meals. Food was lovely. There is Beer and Ciders on tap aswell as all spirits. There is Mr Whippy Ice cream for the kids aswell as Milk Shakes plus lots of Cold Drinks/ Chocolate bars etc.The bar area has tables and benches with Umbrellas in the middle and is lit up of a night. Guy is a Top bloke and didn't stop from morning until night. Everyone was extremely friendly. The showers are lovely and hot and toilets nice and Clean. I loved the Lago on tap which was brewed down the Road. Sat with a cold beer watching the amazing Sunset. We loved it that much we stayed an extra 2 nights. I would highly recommend this site to anyone and we will definitely be returning.
Lovely lovely place and so welcoming! I was on probably my last road trip due to a terminal illness and after being bedbound for a many years. for over a week in a belingo with my dog. Travelling through Wales, we were met by Guy, who gave me free choice to go pick a spot with the best view in one of the many fields they have. The hot showers are AMAZING!!! the views were stunning, watching the sunset over the coast. They do food on site, both breakfast and dinner and again it was just perfect and the staff, and I know I didn't give you the full details but you made me and my Luna feel soo welcome and I left there/yours way to soon I think. When you said, you leaving already? I should've got the hint and stayed perhaps another night or 2. Lovely place, great views, extremely clean washing and toilet facilties. Decent home made cooking, oh and a bar on site, best not forget that part. Electric and water pitches. If I ever make it out again, to Wales, I know where I'll be heading back to, hopefully see you again one day..... Many thanks, many many thanks
Fantastic site, All the amenities are better than one would expect, Staff superb, Mama C's Saturday Curry night very spacial & fully authentic. We will definitely want a seasonal pitch next season, Note, Got a seasonal this year and had one hear for the last 5 seasons, No plans to go anywhere else, You would never know it was hear unless you look for it. The Sun sets are amazing. Thanks to all the Staff Xx
We had a lovely time at the campsite. Clean toilets and showers. Plenty of space and you can pitch up wherever so we managed to be next to our friends. Amazing food which we didn't expect. We will be returning :
Came here as a child for many years to stay in the holiday cottage. Was so excited to find it again still to holiday in to take my own children to stay and visit the beautiful Llyn Peninsula. The cottage has been fully modernised but still had traditional cottage charm. The new owners Guy and Nisha were warm and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble. Yummy food served on site was a great touch to come home to after a day out exploring. Whistling sands still as beautiful as ever. Aberdaron and Abersoch in easy reach and kids fully enjoyed Greenwood Adventure Park 60 min drive away. Campsite around the cottage was very busy. Camping areas where kept spotless and we are tempted to come back and give camping a try for the first time! Was a great 10 days had!
Quiet; small and peaceful campsite. The showers and toilets were very clean. Washing up area with very hot water. The site is well situated to explore the area. The farm house is a holiday let. Only glass is recycled which seems the norm in this area.
Having a loverly stay in the cottage. Guy, his family and staff are helpful and the cafe / bar is popular with all campers
WOW just wow! We stayed here from Friday Am untill Sunday afternoon and was gutted to have to come home. The campsite is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, the showers and toilets are really clean, there is a dishwasher area and also a cute hut where you can get drinks and ice creams from and most recently they have starting doing food aswell breakfast and burgers although we brought our own bbq and ate mostly food of that. The Location of the campsite is perfect as you can see the sun set over the ocean in the distance and at night time the sky is just so beautifulwith all the stars and moon. A short drive to Aberdaron Town centre, literally 5 minutes, there you will find some lovely little cafes, pubs that serve food a Spar and the most beautiful beach. We went with our little pug too and she was welcome in all shops except the spar the pubs/restaurants and also on the beach. We absolutely loved our stay here at this campsite that much that we are going back next weekend!
