Very tasty ice cream with generous portion sizes in a variety of flavours. Very hygienic as gloves were worn and a separate person handled billing. It was all contact less which was reassuring. There is indoor and outdoor seating along with an indoor and outdoor play area for younger kids. Lovely little detour.
Great selection of ice cream flavours and absolutely delicious. We were caught off guard though by how many scoops ‘1 scoop’ is as it’s actually 2/3 but that’s not a complaint rather just advice that 1 scoop is a very generous size but the ice cream is 100% worth it! Shop is also quite good and staff very accommodating. Plenty of parking directly outside.
I took my wife and Granddaughter for a visit today to Brymor Ice Cream, and really enjoyed the day out. Meeting the lovely helpful young Ladies working in the shop and play ground area's. The play area at the rear of the shop is mostly for young Children, with swings, slides, climbing frames and a large sandpit. The other play area is mostly for older Children, and an admittance fee of £5 per child, £3 for an Adult is required. No adult is admitted without a child to look after them ha ha. Worth the money and the admission ticket covers all the time the play area is open. 10am-5pm. P.S. The ice cream is also worth the trip.
I didn’t actually visit this place but got a tub of vanilla ice cream from the local shop in Askrigg. This is the best ice cream I have had in a very long time. This ice cream is perfect for vegetarians as it has no eggs. My favourite is the classic vanilla flavour I added some home made chocolate sauce and roasted nuts to make my own sundae : I wish it was available closer to London :
Flat, level site with plenty of parking. Everything is on the ground floor and it is dog friendly. They also have a dog field on site. Inside there is a shop area, selling assorted gifts as well as a limited range of produce. The main cafe area is spacious, with numbered tables so select a table before going to the counter to order. There is a varied menu available including homemade soups, filled sandwiches, toasted paninis, bacon/sausage rolls, cakes, coffees etc. Finally, of course, there is a magnificent range of ice-cream flavours, sundaes and milkshakes for you to choose from or create your own mix. Toilet facilities are provided in a separate building.
Good place to take kids big and small. Obviously an amazing range of their own ice cream but also a Cafe, kids playground, ball games area and animal viewing barn. You can also park and take a local walk.
Lovely ice-cream, please be aware that it gets very busy during peak periods. Also it has a great play area for children
Massive selection of ice cream. Food available in the cafe too. Nice little gift section also here. Well worth a visit!
Accommodating staff with a lovely selection of ice cream. Reasonably priced and with quick service. Amazing surrounding scenery and lovely touches made to the building and decor itself. Will definitely come again
We tried rhubarb, cherry & cinderella scoops along with a caramel crunch sundae & Yorkshire mess sundae. All of the ice cream tastes like vanilla with tiny extracts of the various flavours, with the exception of rhubarb which was just vanilla. Cinderella had a little flavour in the chocolate covered cinder balls but nothing to race about. The sundaes were the worst though, covered in cream that had to be scraped off as it tasted like cheese. Even the pink cream tasted the same, which was quite a strange sensation. Out of 4 ordered ice creams, we finished 1, & finding a hair in the last bite was the clincher, not a fan. Just hope the ice in the caramel crunch didn't mean the ice cream had been refrozen and we're all going to be hitting the loos this evening... Play areas are decent though
