Ordered takeaway afternoon teas for 10 for my Christmas eve birthday celebrations. Everything arrived well packed and was fresh and very tasty. Generous portions. Vegetarians well catered for. Will happily recommend.
Friendly staff, but unfortunately my experiences here haven't been great since they've expanded into their new building. Service is often very slow. I've been informed a couple of times that they have run out of bread which for a bakery is a bit embarrassing and the final straw was ordering a couple of hot takeaway sandwiches which were slopped into a paper bag without being wrapped up. By the time we got home the sandwiches weren't exactly sandwiches but a heap of food and soggy bread at the bottom of a paper bag. Yum. Edit: I've added a star because some of their desserts are really good
Beautifully decorated, lovely furnishings and great spaces, both indoors and outside. Delicious breakfast and brunch menu, alongside huge variety of baked goods, both savoury and sweet. Range of bread and rolls too. Definitely worth a visit!
Popped in with my son for a baguette, ended up sitting down having a full English which was amazing. Granary bread is delicious! Really lovely atmosphere, staff so cheerful and friendly. Studley are so lucky to have this on their doorstep.
Great food, polite and friendly staff. Not a massive wait for food but everything fresh and festive sandwich and fries were amazing! Great latte and don't forget the cakes on the way out! 2nd visit to the cafe now and will definitely be back!
The level of service and standard of food is stunning at Bruno's. We've used them for over 15 years for corporate lunches in Redditch. We receive so many compliments from our team members and customers about how delicious the food is.
Visited the new restaurant this morning for breakfast. The new building is a credit to Brunos We order a full English and hot drinks When the food arrived it was very well presented and good qaulity .however the food and the drinks were missing a vital ingredients being hot We mentioned our comments to the waitress who said she would tell the chef . We were offered new drinks or a cake to takeaway. Which was appreciated. It is the first week and you can expect teething problems. We look forward to a return visit
We had afternoon tea for 6 + 1 on Friday afternoon for our Christmas get together - 5 sisters and 1 sister-in-law. Collected by one of us ….. It was firstly extremely good value for money paid. The food looked very appetising, fresh and plentiful. We all loved it. Fully recommend BRUNO Bakery and we will use your service again. Thank you.
I really wanted to love this place as Studley needs somewhere like this bakery to eat in. My first impressions weren’t super great. I really thought they would do iced coffees but they don’t. I ordered a hot sausage roll which was lukewarm so if you want your pasty hot I recommend asking for it reheating, and a cake. I asked what was inside a specific pastry but the lady didn’t know, she asked around and told me. I said I’ll take the brownie instead, unfortunately I received the pastry but didn’t see until I got home as I didn’t watch her pack it. Not much fresh bread left on Saturday afternoon which is a shame as I wanted a loaf, but I guess they sell out quickly during the week. If you want to sit-in I recommend coming early as Saturday lunchtime was rammed, and upstairs seating was closed. Not really any queuing system at the till so hard to see who’s hanging around and who’s queuing. Want to come back and try again and will change the review if that is the case.
Wow! Was not expecting to find such great food, from a little place in Studley! Had the vegan breakfast, and it was excellent. Great little find, if slightly unexpected! Very pleasant surprise!
