Popped in this morning about 9 am 24/12/15. The breakfast I had was the FULL ENGLISH. It was really excellent. The food was hot and well cooked. The sausage and bacon were top quality. It was well worth the 7.00 GBP. I recommend this nice little place with friendly staff and a nice vibe. I have been in before with my rugby mates and we have always had great food and a friendly welcome,
Friendly, helpful staff, delicious bread rolls and we'll priced for both the hungry tourist and the busy worker popping in for breakfast on the go. I played Chinese checkers with the boardgames the had out and enjoyed a piping hot tea and a 3 sausage and black pudding roll all for around £4. Thank you Brown Betty's for a good start to the day. Wonderful ambassadors for Nottingham.
The staff are so nice, the food is always good and it's pretty good value for your money. I like! I have only had breakfast there but I am always tempted by their lunch offerings. Need to make the effort to get there for lunch soon. Soon!
Definitely one of Nottingham's hidden gems. Around £4 for a pasta or ciabatta, but boy do you get your money's worth! Really good food with extremely generous portions, friendly staff and a great community atmosphere. Best get there early though, as there are limited eat-in seating and people are queueing out the door when the lunchtime rush arrives! DON'T MISS OUT!
Miserable old man who refused to make us a breakfast because we were 10 minutes late outside the "breakfast time allocations" , which I would be fine with if they were run ragged at the time ..... Although we were the only people in ? Learn some manners ... Etiquette... And most of all learn how to smile for Petes sake !
Overpriced and i found one of the staff one of the two brothers to be rude. I remember a friend ordering chicken and egg fried rice and there was no chicken in the box so she mentioned it, his response was "chicken lottery" in a sarcastic manner.
Absolutely fantastic. Staff are so nice, food is so tasty! Priced very well. If you are after lunch try and arrive before 12 so you beat the rush.
The food was excellent and would recommend trying it. However I personally wouldn't go again because staff seem a little unmotivated like they didn't want to be there. They just need to learn to smile.
Very small, lovely little hole in the wall. Staff are friendly and the food is yummy... Most of it unpretentious and rather like a home cooked meal.
I'm just gonna say it. They're the best sandwiches I've had. Anywhere. And I eat A LOT of sandwiches. Chocolate shortbread and rocky road are well worth a go too, if you can stomach it after the massive portions...
