Broomhall Nursery School provides an Ofsted Outstanding learning through play experience for children aged 3-5 years.

Story

Happy children, growing and learning together is what Broomhall Nursery is all about. The oldest nursery in Sheffield, we are staffed exclusively by teachers educated to degree standard and level 3 qualified early years practitioners. The children here enjoy a learning through play experience that Ofsted has described as “outstanding” in two consecutive inspections.

Most of our committed and skilled staff team have been with us for many years which is testament to the friendly, happy and engaging environment at Broomhall. We pride ourselves in providing a safe, supportive, creative and joyful environment in which your child can explore and discover the world.

Our Nursery School occupies a large and once grand house set in beautiful, extensive walled gardens on the edge of the City Centre. We are just a few minutes’ walk from both universities, the hospitals and the bustling Ecclesall Road with its shops and cafes and less than a mile from the City Centre. There are excellent public transport links to nursery.

Open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am - 5.30 pm during term-time we can offer you flexible and high quality nursery education to suit your family circumstances:

* Full day, morning or afternoon sessions, with or without lunch.
* Breakfast Club and Tea Club.
* Up to 15 hours Free Early Learning in term-time for 3 & 4 year old children.
* £5.50 per hour for wrap around care and additional sessions.
* Nutritious hot lunches at £1.75 each.
