My car developed an engine warning light whilst I was on my way to harrogate from devon. Only staying for a night, they fitted me in for a diagnostic check, reasured me that it was nothing to worry about and didnt charge me, I even had a free coffee.nnThe staff were so helpful, friendly and explained all the faults recorded.nnUnbelievable service and have restored my faith in humanity!nnIf I was local this would be my garage of choice. I assume a family run business.nnDo not hesitate to use them, honest and friendly.nnDonation made to the local air ambulance in lieu of payment.nnThank you so much
I purchased my Octavia in April 2025 from Brookroyd. Nice experience I was treated better purchasing this car for 8k than I was purchasing an 85k motorhome. The car was due an MOT and service so I booked the car in for this asking for an oil service as the car had an inspection service 6k miles ago. The staff were friendly and efficient and a courtesy car provided, all good. However on collection I was told they had performed an inspection service, 140 pounds labour plus oil, filters etc total bill 308 pounds including mot at max 55 quid. No evidence the wheels had been removed for the alleged brake clean or any comprehensive information obtained as a result of the inspection. The usual charge for screen wash even though I had topped it up with fresh fluid 2 days before. To be fair they did not add the usual BS diesel flush / treatment but charged 5 quid for spraying some WD 40 about. I did think this outfit were a decent bet but I will not be back they are the usual standard in this industry.
I recently bought a Skoda Fabia from Brookroyds. This is my second purchase from them and on both occasions I received excellent service. Steve was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I feel happy that I have finally found a trustworthy, reliable garage. I look forward to dealing with them in the future. I would highly recommend.
Booked my car in for a service at the garage I normally take my car to and was quoted an extortionate amount for an MOT and full service on my SEAT Leon so I thought I would get a quote from this garage. The price Brookroyd quoted me was almost £250 cheaper than the quote I got off my usual garage so I decided to go with the cheaper quote. Not only did I get the MOT and service done cheaper but I got an amazing service from the team! They even cleaned my car and drove it round to the front door when I came to collect the vehicle, not to mention my car drives like a dream!! Thank you to all at Brookroyd Garage will definitely use you guys from now on!
Recently bought a Suzuki SX4. Straight forward no hassle process. Friendly, but professional approach to the sale. The car was ready on the date and time as planned. If any issues were to arise in the coming weeks, feel confident that it would be sorted without any bother.
