Nice station with friendly helpful staff. Sadly Owen passed away a few weeks ago. Station has covered seating area on both platforms and on the Liverpool side there is also a waiting room. Both platforms have train information displayed.
Friedly local station with regular services to Liverpool city centre even on Sundays and some glorious trees to look at in summer while waiting. Handy bicycle rack on northbound platform for commuters with ramp access - perhaps a bit of a long haul for wheelchair users although there are special handrails at the correct height together with runaway stop barriers.
A rude staff member put a sign up as I said hello, the sign read, "on break" and rudely pointed at the sign. Very disappointing. The train in general was alright just staff this is why I'm giving it 3 stars
A really rude man sold us a ticket and we didn't hear so said sorry what's the price again he smacked the money display sign and it said next customer please he angry typed something in and it said £13 and he signed and huffed and puffed rudely
Good train service fantastic staff
Terrible rude man served a customer for 5 minutes and then pit a sign on the window saying back at 11.30 we said hello and he didn't say anything put tapped the sighn horribly rude man terrible customer service
