It's a glorious popular seaside town. Ancient buildings housing cafes pubs restaurants and entertainment.
Broadstairs is a beautiful destination. We stayed near Viking Bay and also visited Stone Bay. The beaches boast golden sand and are well-maintained daily. I highly recommend Broadstairs for families with young children, whether for a day trip or a week-long getaway.

Cannot fault the train service but the station is disgusting. There are no staff to help with problems, the whole station is dirty, there are toilets but they are padlocked shut so cannot be used including disabled. There is quite a gap when getting off the train so dread to think how someone in a wheelchair would cope. Broadstairs itself is a lovely, busy place. This station needs a complete overhaul.
