Lovely little local museum. Lots of personal histories and quaint artefacts. Free to enter but the enthusiasm of the volunteers deserves your support. Good for a rainy day but watch for limited winter opening.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
We found that the heritage museum was far larger than we expected. It was run by enthusiatic volunteers and feature a lot of very interesting items from various instances in Brixhams history. The stairs might be a bit too steep for some but the exhibits on the ground floor were very well presented. One can easily see from the age of some exhibits that the enthusism for showing the towns history isnt just a recent thing. Its a worthwhile place to go on any day.

Situated in the old police station, this is a small interesting museum. We were greeted by a volunteer who gave us a quick break down of what we were to see as well as letting us know the route around the museum. Lots of interesting facts and figures about Brixham and surrounding area. Lots of items and articles packed into a small area. Very interesting, well worth a visit.

Excellent free museum spread over 2 floors and run by volunteers. You can always find something here of interest to read on the many story panels provided. There is also 2 childrens areas for them to play and do colouring/activity sheets. I can see this a great place to spend an hour or two if its raining on your holiday.
We went in here to escape the rain originally, but really glad we did; fascinating place, dog friendly, lovely, knowledgeable ladies on reception. Also much bigger than we expected.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
