Purchased a plate back in 2011 approx. Weren't helpful explaining anything. Been trying for that past 5+ years to change some info on the docs and put reg on a car. No responses by email or if they do respond they'll eventually stop. Phone lines dont work either. SCAM COMPANY
I sold my number plate - 791PK - via British Car Registrations. It was years ago now, but the customer service was so awful, it's remained indelibly in my memory ever since and I feel compelled to warn others what an unpleasant company this is to deal with. I found the receipt from the transaction the other day and it brought back terrible memories! This is not a customer-focused company, more just one which puts money-grabbing first. The lady I dealt with was particularly aggressive in nature and I've yet to deal with a worse company or encounter worse customer service. Not recommended at all! If I could give them zero stars, I would.
This Company Mis-Sells their Service. Paid almost two hundred pound for sale of personal number plate - this company couldn't do enough to get my money but after money was received they done little to answer questions regarding mis-selling of their service, have written to director and followed their 'complaints' procedure as per their web page regarding complaints which has since disappeared? ! - but I have a screenshot of it whereby they say they respond to every complaint. Yet they have not responded to any of the three letters I have sent. This company mis-sold me through their advertisement. One of their employees was disgraceful in their customer service which I recorded the telephone call to prove how the woman spoke all over me, gave me no time to speak about my complaint and refused to give me details of who to write in to. I will be going to trading standards now as this company say they only take the one fee which covers everything but then they add 10% onto the sale price online which I was told was their commission - after I had paid the fee - before having paid I was not told they add this percentage on. It was all smoke screen and terrible service and as yet no-one has responded to my letters of concern.
I purchased a car reg from the internet, paid for the 7 day service, 4 weeks later after trying to get in touch with them, i eventually spoke to someone for her to tell me the reg was no longer available. I asked for a refund, 1 week later I'm still waiting and STILL can't get in touch with anyone. They aren't answeing any phones or returning any emails.
Relatively easy to buy a plate. No budging on the initial price and paperwork 1 day later than promised. Generally up until this point fine. What really p****d me off was that I settled their invoice as displayed in full via Faster payment option that I did online so they were paid within 1 hour of the transfer. Their email did state that If I paid by CHAPS that a £20 fee would be charged. They took 3 days to confirm payment with an email saying that I had still £20 to pay even though It wasn't a chaps payment. Their invoice didn't state any CHAPs fee at all just the amount to clear which I did. Upon calling and explaining this I was told it didn't matter and unless I paid the extra £20 they would sit on the plate. So basically I was held to ransom for £20. The £20 isn't the issue the issue is I complied with their paperwork, paid in full at no cost to them, and then their attitude after purchase that If I didn't pay 'tough'. On principle I wouldn't buy from these again as it seems what is in writing doesn't matter! Very poor and disatisfied customer. There are plenty of registration companies out there!
Terrible service, follow up and payment. Still waiting a month later for the money when they eventually sold my fathers number plate!!! And looking at the reviews here I doubt the authenticity of most of the 5 star ratings!!! Service and follow-up were part of the complaint. The fact that this response took a YEAR is a primary example of what I mean!!!
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Their customer service is dreadful, they add on extra costs without explaining upfront. Once they have your money, they never call you back. Even if they paid me to advertise with them, I wouldn't. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Bought a plate last year for my girlfriend and paid for a retention fee. We have been trying to contact for several months now to put transfer the plate onto her new car as its all paid for. Phone calls unanswered, emails ignored, have been to the shop several times but always shutNegativeProfessionalism
Shocking Company !! Customer service is dreadful. Always adding extra "costs " on top of what was agreed. Worst experience I have had purchasing anything !!NegativeProfessionalism
Rip off merchants - STAY WELL CLEAR!!! Only interested in your money and once they have it they’re not interested in helping you with any problem.
