The quieter t5 BA lounge. Plenty of space to sit, with loads of food and drink options. Smaller cans available, I always put a few in my bag for the flight, along with a water cooler for filling up bottles. There's ice cream for kids, or grown ups really I guess. This is a good quiet space to relax before your flight.
Spacious lounge and very quiet. Not a lot of choices on the menu. I had a tomato soup which was all right, nothing special. The pains aux raisins were superb. I was very impressed with it and had a 2nd one. Disappointed not too see those gummy bear snacks from the departure lounge.
The closest and quietest BA lounge in Terminal 5. You only really need to visit this lounge when your flight departs from B gate. Take the transit train from the main terminal and the escalator only walking distance as soon as you get off the transit train and it will take you straight up to the lounge. My flight was fairly late leaving London to Dubai. The hot food section has a good selection of curry, rice, and bite size pies. A salad bar section with a few prepared salad and fresh tomorrow, olives, green leaves. I had a small bowl of tomatoes and yoghurt cucumber salad. The beverage section is pretty much the same as other BA lounges. As the late evening approached, the wine section had an empty bottle left on the rack. And the staff replaced the bottle soon I asked for replenishment. Mixed nuts and packs of crisp are the same like other lounges. I had 2 glasses of red and a bowl of mixed nuts before heading to my flight. Definitely the quietest lounge where I can relax, much better than other lounges in terminal 5.
Unlike the North and South galleries at the main departures terminal which are overcrowded and dirty, the club lounge at concourse B is clean, spacious and most importantly, usually sparsely occupied. Hot food, drink, snacks and assorted desserts all available and a far more peaceful environment - what a lounge should be.
The lounges and overall business service is very good! Made flying so much more relaxed. Menu on the ground is limited but the food is tasty. The food in the air is good, never before have i even attempted to eat plane food after a bad experience many years ago. But they served a great dish on a real plate. The staff were amazing, the lounge is generally quiet and well maintained. A must for travelling in the current covid world.
It’s official!…….I’m now part of the first class family……and this is just the beginning. The service you get with a First Class ticket is absolutely impeccable…..truly impressive. Coming from Economy to Premium Economy, it’s not even close when it comes to service & what you’ve paid for. You see First Class starts the minute you get into the Private Lounge area in Heathrow airport. I thought it was the minute you get on the plane I was so wrong. You would think the people who go through First Class are the typical business, high end laptops & constant mobile chatting individuals. Far from it……well just a few laptop executives. Here’s a great tip! when you check in First Class……oh! and by the way, security screening it’s about 5-10 minutes……that’s right!…….5-10 MINUTES you are treated as a VIP even though, I came through wearing jeans, cap, jacket etc. I am not the suit type, so if people didn’t like the way I dress? Tough it’s my time to have fun. We need to remove the stigma of executive mindset of First Class. That’s why British Airways doesn’t stigmatise on how you look…..hard to say this, but they will treat you more important based on your ticket you’ve purchased with them. Were as economy, you can’t please everyone. But First Class not only will you get treated better, you’ll also giving the airline a profit, and I think BA profits are based on First Class passengers numbers. There’s no question & it’s a no brainier, I will be flying First Class, because if you get First Class treatment, why wouldn’t put a positive Google Review. Last time I’ve checked, I’ve had 119k views, because when it comes to Google Reviews, it’s positive with photos. Another great tip!……make you FAST….YES…..FAST! coming in on an empty stomach, because the minute you step in the First Class lounge……YOU EAT WITH YOUR EYES…..BEFORE YOU EVEN GET ON YOUR FLIGHT! And that’s what I did. The food has to be light eatable because it’s Michelin Star recipes. However there’s a help yourself buffet, make sure you’ve got some room for the in flight meals . Check out the menu I’ve attached…….DO YOU STILL WANT TO TRAVEL ECONOMY?. TO BE CONTINUED!
I was utterly disappointed with the lounge, it’s quality and service. I went to both the South Lounge and T5B lounge and both were a waste of time. The place was crowded, food menu was very limited, limited table service and low quality drinks. I am trying very hard to remain a fan of BA but they are making my task extremely difficult
Very, very nice indeed! Huge space which always seems calm even when busy. Excellent range of drinks and hot and cold food always on offer. Seating is comfortable and well spaced out with touchdown areas for impromptu meetings and proper desk spaces for those who want to get some work done. Decor is understated but tasteful. Nice one, BA!
A great lounge. The food selection is a little limited but always good quality. The lounge itself is quiet, clean and relaxing and a great way to start a trip.
Better than the lounges in the main terminal because it's much quieter. Food offerings could be better. No longer offering table service with QR code, which is a shame. Refurbishment especially of the bathrooms needed urgently. Lots of drinks to choose from, but no champagne or prosecco.
