One of my favourite shops. Staff know their stuff and are very helpful. Goods are all good quality and at fair prices. I especially like being able to buy individual screws, nuts etc rather than spend near a tenner on a whole box in Homebase and only need 1.

I have been using this excellent shop for many years and have always been delighted with the service, the range of products stocked and the prices. With the centre of Bangor struggling, shops like this deserve our support. On a lighter note the proprietor is a wonderful man with a wicked sense of humour. Long may he prosper!

Just moved into Bangor recently and have a few little projects to do on the new home. This wee shop has been so handy for all the odds and ends that I have needed. They also provide excellent key cutting upstairs. The staff were excellent, very helpful and informative.

Went in one Saturday afternoon around 4 pm to buy something. What it was I cannot remember. Only had a £20 note on me. Apologized for not having change. The young lad serving was pleasant enough. He asked the older guy behind the counter for change. As it was late in the day they seemed to have already been toting up the cash. The griping, sighing and mumbling the older guy did was in my opinion extremely rude. Needless to say I haven't been back in that shop since.I now support the multiples. No wonder the town centres are dying on their feet with service like that.

Fantastic gem of a shop! Traditional style service at Internet prices! Been a few times now and always pleasantly surprised at the prices. Never fails to deliver on that 'hard to find item'. Ive popped in a few times when I didn't have time to wait for an online/Ebay delivery and found Briterome just as cheap(sometimes cheaper) Dead handy :) Great job!
