Driveway, walls and path completed today, totally superb job. Nothing was too much trouble, they really wanted us to be happy with the work and we are. Very impressed with the preparation and groundworks, this drive is here to stay. Will use again.

In short - Bristol Paving had been very good from beginning to end, with just a minor issue around accidentally burying my water meter for a few months.

The quality of the work is top notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve and his team to anyone considering a driveway conversion.

Steve came out to quote for our job and was on time, friendly and very helpful. I explained what I had in mind (a double drive with steps 90 degrees from the front door).

Steve explained that it would be complex and expensive for very little gain, and that I’d be far better off having a single drive with wide steps that would be easy for my pregnant wife to climb. Throughout the process Steve was a great help, offering his insight and expertise and reassuring us along the way. He gave a written quotation which was stuck to, and although it wasn’t the cheapest quote we received, my wife and I had absolute confidence in Steve and the list of reference projects he had done.

Once the build had started the guys were on time every single day without fail, and were polite and thoughtful - little things like telling me they were about to do some disk cutting, so I may want to close the front windows to avoid getting dust in the house. The chaps were very polite and we were only too happy to provide plenty of food and drinks and they worked long and hard throughout the build.

My steps took the guys a lot of work, but you can see they are absolutely rock solid, and even after I’d paid Steve the full balance he was still checking the pavers on his way out to make sure everything was perfect.

The quality of the brickwork is nothing short of perfect. I’ve tried to take some close up photos of the workmanship but to say every single brick was meticulously laid, measured, adjusted, and re-measured – its perfect. 
Overall, we are totally happy with Bristol Paving. The price was fair for the work involved, everything is structurally rock solid and the finish is perfect.

In the end Steve liaised with the water company, who came out and uncovered our water meter.

Bristol Paving were great. They made sure I'm happy with the progress of the job at every stage, their advice and insight were priceless. They worked really hard and finished the driveway to high standard. Their experience was of a great value, they were able to propose solutions that I didn't even think about. Highly recommended. I would definitely use them again.

Very happy with the work carried out by Bristol Paving. The whole team worked well, they were respectful and polite and answered any questions that I had. The whole job took 3 days and was carried out in a clean and tidy way (well, as much as is possible when digging your garden up). I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Rubbish. Turned up at my house and reviewed the job (whilst my wife entertained his kid that was with him at the time) and agreed to return two weeks later to do the work. Never saw or heard from him again after that, despite multiple phone calls and text messages asking for confirmation. I managed to get through to his wife who apologised and said he would be in touch....but nothing. All I wanted was to know what was happening so I could make suitable plans, but he didn't have the decency or professionalism to call back and let me know. Nice one, thanks Steve!!!
