I attended a wake here today and was so impressed, never having been before. Every one if the rinks were in use and the room we used was smashing. The bar staff were lovely and the buffet was excellent, one of the best I had had in a lk g time. Well done.
Great social Indoor Bowls Club.nnI joined about 6 weeks ago. Everyone is very friendly & coaching is available to new players.nnFood & Bar available & excellent bowls facilities with 9 rinks.nnStaff are brilliant & always helpful.nnPlenty of parking.nnI have been given guidance from many members which is appreciated.nnIf you are looking for a club, I would recommend it.
Tremendous facilities well worth a visit.
This club is awesome. From the super friendly receptionist as you arrive to the great catering this club seems to have it all.nThere are lots of notice boards informing everyone whats going on, what's for sale, and anything else anybody thinks it's pertinent to tell folks. Then there are books and jigsaws to buy...give a donation. There are books on bowling to help with your game, maybe you borrow them like a library book, I'm not sure. There's also flip books made up to help with your game and they're full of training hints and tips...quite fancied getting on one of their 9 rinks and trying some of the suggestions out, see if they helped my game
Friendly club, good and fast bowling surface. Food leaves something to be desired..choose wisely. Omelette looks good as does fish and chips..but I had a veggie burger as they didn't have chicken... It was thin and almost cardboard in texture...chips undercooked and this after waiting 30 mins for it!
