Good to have a bus station to go inside out of the Rain & Cold in this cold freezing country . could do with a couple dozen more chairs in the place to get the weight off the legs, had a information person at counter who I asked where to get a Kingswood bus as I'm a visitor, he told me theres a bus stop about a quarter a mile away in the street so he knew about buses, with hundreds of buses in Bristol they can't all fit in this small station and are spread around the streets of the city centre & have to track them down, find most of the time at a bus shelter the information boards are behind where people sit & can't see them, maybe one day someone very very bright person will come up with the idea to mount the information boards at the side walls of the shelters where people can't sit & block them, maybe that a be 20 years or so in the future, find to go to places in Bristol that to go 2 or 3 miles as the crow flies it takes over an hour as buses go all over the place, turn here turn there, anyhow the bus station is a step in the right direction,
Bristol is a beautiful and vibrant city, rich in diverse cultures and civilizations. It boasts many beautiful places, shops, and excellent shopping malls. It's also a peaceful city.
Coach driver was lovely, but security was rude as ever. Not all disabilities are visible. I am... I had forgotten my radar key and politely asked if they could allow me to use the disabled toilet. I was met with a rude attitude and told the toilets were closed. Rude station I have ever used in terms of staff.
Considering you pay 30p for the toilets, they're disgusting. Brown marks all up the wall, hair and marks on the toilet seats, floor was stinking, only one filled soap dispenser, mirrors aren't even good, and to top it off the cubicle doors are extremely loud and creaky. the rest of the bus station seems okay but sort it out
Bristol coach station really needs to sort itself out when it comes to drop offs and pick ups. There is literally no space for cars to quickly stop for five or ten minutes just to pick up friends or loved ones. If you do manage to find a small space it is always taken up by those overpriced blue taxis that seem to camp there. Do they not realise Uber is the future and people do not want to rely on expensive cabs anymore.nnOn top of that the place honestly stinks of urine which makes the whole experience even worse. For such a busy transport hub you would expect it to be kept cleaner and more welcoming, but instead it feels run down and neglected. It is just frustrating because the location could be so much better if they made a few changes.
