My son is 2 1/2 and has been going to Bright Stars since he was 9 months old. He loves going there and has made many friends. The staff are all brilliant and friendly and always talk to me about what my sons done that day. It's a safe and secure place and I can't fault it at all, I've never had any trouble with them and I trust them all with my son.

I sent my 4 mth old baby to this day nursery and immediately had to take him out the same day. When I went to collect him, he was crying and when I asked he had been crying for half an hour. My baby is not a cry baby and does not cry for any longer than 5 minutes. They also informed that they had given him a yogurt when I asked to see what it was, it was in fact a wildlife yogurt which contains cow's milk. Obviously being 4 mths old, he was not old enough to have it and ended up with the runs for two days. When I finally calmed him down from all the crying, I noticed he had a mark on the left side of his face. When I asked about it, they told me he had been scratched by a toddler. I was told that the baby unit was from 0-12mths, then when I asked then they said 0-18. There were children in the baby unit that looked as old as 3 years. Even still, this in my eyes was something that should of happened to a vunerable baby who can't even defend himself in anyway. All this lead me to spending a day looking for nurseries and after checking Bright Stars on the Ofsted reports, no wonder why they are so low rated. I was referred by a friend whom her 4 year son goes to the nursery which I'm sure they cater ok for the older one's but certainly not babies.
