A wonderful, friendly, family run hotel with exceptional accommodation, amazing food.nOur family were overwhelmed at how lovely it was staying at the Brig & Barrel Hotel. Such a lovely family who run the business. Rosslyn the owner was the best hostess. Everyone who worked there were so friendly. The food was fabulous, cooked by Jim the owner and his team. Tasty meals pies are incredible but all the food was good and the service was so efficient. Breakfast was exceptional too and all cooked to perfection. Nicely decorated throughout with two dining rooms, bar and beautiful garden for families. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, really comfy bed and quality bedding and pillows were divine. Exceptionally clean throughout the whole hotel, rooms, bathrooms etc. It was the little things coffee, milk, fan and heating in the rooms, table settings in the dining room, notes in the bathrooms. Parking was very easy. We took Coco, my mum’s poodle and everyone was so kind and loving to him. He began to think it was his new home. We cannot wait to return to this wonderful hotel in October. Also, “Thank you Kara” for all your wonderful chats and stories.
This is one of the nicest places I've stayed. Good Food, Staff is wonderful, Rooms are nice. Overall a 10 in my book all round!
Went for lunch yesterday....nFood excellent nDecor very unusual but lovely....nWaitress was helpful and polite.nIt's over 20years since I've been in this hotel and wow what a transformation.nA boost for Buckie.nWe'll be back....nWe'll done to all in this venture.
We weren't staying here but booked in here for dinner. Loved everything - the decor, that staff, the food. Amazing Cullen Skink. We'll be back.
