Lovely shopping centre in Sunderland has a variety of shops and always manage to get lots of goodies. Only recently just fount out that their is a Paddington statue inside which I absolutely love and had to get a photo with!
Jackie White Market is one of the most positive aspects of the Bridges Shopping Centre. Although the Bridges is an immaculately clean and inviting shopping Mall. There are some great shops in here too. Next time I'm in I'll see if we can grab some more photos. Meanwhile see if you can spot Paddington Bear having a short sit down. Waiting for someone to come and share their marmalade sandwiches with him..
This mall is perfect for the people living in its area... it has everything the people would need from shopping for clothes, gifts, groceries, holiday, health care such as vitamins plasters or bandages.... and travel insurance for holidays.... there is also a currency exchange quite a few of them and a great space for the public to catch up... have a cup of tea or coffee and cakes and treats .... there is a fresh produce area and market attached to the mall and it has a great selection of smoothies and milkshakes.... what a fantastic mall for the people of the area.
A good range of shops, Jackie Whites Market is a favourite of mine. The fruit and veg stall is highly popular. Such good prices plus they sell crisps at amazing prices. Plus some other Asian foods. Plus some household products. The butcher has high welfare meats. Looks of other quirky and unique stalls.nThe Bridges have some independent stalls which are also interesting. So good for a rainy day. They usually have some activities for kids as well.
I love the Bridges Shopping centre full of natural light and airy, for me I like it more than Eldon Square and the Metro Centre.nThe Bridges has a variety of shops and is also undercover. However, if it looked more like Sunderland Museum/Winter gardens with plants and trees and a water feature it would be a more favourable and a nicer environment to shop. I remember there was a water feature at Brent cross shopping centre and Whiteleys Bayswater London. For me it made a difference as a nicer shopping experience.nThere is also an indoor market which there is few and far between now.
