I love the Bridges Shopping centre full of natural light and airy, for me I like it more than Eldon Square and the Metro Centre.nThe Bridges has a variety of shops and is also undercover. However, if it looked more like Sunderland Museum/Winter gardens with plants and trees and a water feature it would be a more favourable and a nicer environment to shop. I remember there was a water feature at Brent cross shopping centre and Whiteleys Bayswater London. For me it made a difference as a nicer shopping experience.nThere is also an indoor market which there is few and far between now.
Good range of shops. Clean environment. Facilities are kept very clean. I used the disabled toilets with my radar key very clean. Plenty of cafes and bug name stores.
The parking facilities are of high quality and the associated costs are reasonable. The location is highly advantageous. The retail establishments are all of a high standard. I anticipate returning in the future.
Parking charges are horrible. I just got in due to the wrong sat nav but never even spent 5 minutes and was charged £3. Horrible charging fines, no way to make u turn except going the barriers and coming out. I have shopped here and will never come to shop there
Good choice of shops but not many to my liking, aimed more for younger people. Car park handy for the shopping centre.
