We came on on Sunday 19/10/25 to visit The Entertainer shop specifically as wanted to get winnie the pooh characters . Did not have or not before Christmas.nA big clean shopping centre.nHad a few independent shops and bother shops like primark, lush...nDisabled/ wheelchair friendlynI took pictures of some kids toys in The EntertainernParking states £1 per hour. We were in the shopping centre for 35 minutes. We were charged £3
Although not a huge shopping centre, the bridges is nicely decorated, clean and tidy, even the toilets are kept well cleaned nnA good selection of shops available with quite busy footfall, even have an indoor market inside!nnIndoor parking is card only, so need to remember to bring credit card if want to park in the multi storey car park...
Lovely shopping centre in Sunderland has a variety of shops and always manage to get lots of goodies. Only recently just fount out that their is a Paddington statue inside which I absolutely love and had to get a photo with!
We visited Sunderland City Centre recently and pleasantly surprised with The Bridges. Compared to a good number of High Street Shopping Centres struggling with empty units, we were really pleased to see how busy the centre was. Good selection of shops. The only thing that stopped me from awarding 4 stars is accessing the car park. Whilst it's clearly marked from the main road, signage up to the centre was poor including information in the main car park around payment.
Jackie White Market is one of the most positive aspects of the Bridges Shopping Centre. Although the Bridges is an immaculately clean and inviting shopping Mall. There are some great shops in here too. Next time I'm in I'll see if we can grab some more photos. Meanwhile see if you can spot Paddington Bear having a short sit down. Waiting for someone to come and share their marmalade sandwiches with him..
