We have been in Ripponden now for 17 years and counting....
Originally named Georgia's Sandwich Shop, the shop was totally gutted and refurbished. The shop has existed for for about 100 years, still visible on old photos. The now car park used as a sidings for the Rishworth railway station.

Bread was dry, thrown together willy nilly, no care taken at all. Not a smile or pleasant welcome when entering. Some serious customer service missing. Bread that's not dry would be nice too

if you are googling this place and thinking about going. Read no further. If you want amazing buttys, pies and service, Bridge that gap is the place. Ignore the fancier looking places. These ladies know their stuff. Every sandwich or brekkie box is so full it usually lasts me two meals! that or it can double up as weight training because there's so much filling! I'm currently tucking in to a sausage and spam and there must be six sausages and a pound of spam in this. not the cheapo sausages too that a lot sell! These are proper butchers job.

Fantastic value .didn't know that you could get so many sausages on a sandwich. Well worth stopping off for something to eat.
Beautiful sandwich highly recommend. Love the fact it has 5 star hygiene rating too.
