Good breakfast. Went back whilst we were staying in bath for coffee and cake. Was so good we took a lunch deal away for a picnic later in the day. Their baguettes were fresh, good choice of fillings and good value.
Great place for a morning coffee with a wonderful view. I liked it so much I went back more than once. Their cappuccino was delicious.
Afternoon tea with a view! You’re provided with a tea kettle with the tea of your choice, along with two scones, jam, and cream. We had the rose tea which was great. The icing on top however was the service. The madam working the counter was very kind and moved us from our table with no view to a table with an amazing view when the couple sitting there left. She had great hospitality and made this leg of our trip memorable.
The scone and cream were great, the tea was pretty good and coffee decent. 1/2 star off because the jam looked and tasted cheap, which took away from the cream tea experience, 1/2 star for somewhat expensive prices, and one star for the very rude service. The girl taking orders was not friendly or helpful and had a really negative and somewhat aggressive attitude. The view was beautiful and if someone else is working I’d say it’s worth a stop for a drink and pastry.
It’s a lovely little coffee shop with the nicest view of the river. We got fresh scones and enjoyed wonderful pot of tea. The only little thing is their lack of communication. We got our tea and then waited 20 minutes for our scones. We found out after asking three times it’s because there’s only one person making everything. I’d definitely recommend going and having some afternoon tea or breakfast but don’t be in a hurry
It is a very nice place to enjoy scene in Pulteney Bridge. The bakery is fine, would suggest reheat in cold weather before serving to customer. I ordered cappuccino, it is fine. the dessert is yet to improve in terms of flavour. it is a good place if you want to grab something quick.Food: 4/5
When you need a cake and a coffee this delightful cafe doesn't disappoint. Super coffee and a delicious range of cakes and sandwiches are on offer and the cafe was full of happy punters. Can vouch for the scones, brownie and rock cakes and after looking at it for ten minutes the best cheesecake I've had in ages Super friendly staff and spick and span with great views off Pultney bridge. May have to pop back for more cheesecake;
Great coffee, great cream tea, and great service from the ever so slightly what I took to be owner. Another plus was a wonderful view, as you can see from the photo, taken from inside the coffee shop. If you are in Bath, go on, treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Brilliant views and decent food. This is a lovely little cafe overlooking the water, there are only about five tables in total and not all of them have the water views but if you can get one it really adds to the experience. Food and service were both fine but it’s the view from the window that really sets this little place apart from the rest.
Lovely views overlooking the river. We went in November but it was still busy. Only two staff in the shop so it took a long time for tables to be cleared. They had sold out of some things on the menu by 1pm. Tables are close together so be prepared to be squashed: no social distancing here! Staff were friendly, which helped. Unfortunately, when we were there, there was a loud, directive customer and she rather spoiled the otherwise friendly atmosphere. We would go again.
