Exactly what you want and expect from a local Scottish cafe. Filled with local people, workmen and families, it’s got a great buzz about the place. Haggis, lorne and black pudding on fresh rolls. The perfect fried breakfast to sit in or a quick roll before you start the day. If it’s a quiet cup of tea with a great view this isn’t the place for you but for a hearty breakfast in a local place it really is brilliant.
I didn’t know about this cafe until I was in a few weeks back, and everything about this place was amazing… the staff were lovely and welcoming, the food was amazing and very well priced especially for the big portions. I highly recommend, and I will definitely be back
First time in here. Was very nice that the staff gave us a table as they were booked tables which we didn't know. Our lunch was BEAUTIFUL the staff were FANTASTIC. Well done. Ps Your mini cheesecakes were awesome. We will definitely be back to your beautiful cafe.
Nice clean place but a bit too smoky, friendly service, ordered a breakfast and a coffee, my breakfast was half eaten before they decided to bring my toast obviously forgot and it wasn’t even toasted properly also ordered Mac n cheese and a Mocha so the bill should have been £18:50 I was charged £20:60 over charged by £2:10 would recommend, check your prices before you get the bill….will not be going back
Our 1st time in today didn't know you had to book but the girls got us seated, food was excellent service was superb lovely friendly Staff will defo be back and would definitely recommend to anyone.
Always greeted with a smile, everywhere clean and tidy. Food quality is great and the staff very professional and welcoming. Kid-friendliness: Very obliging to child's needs and understanding of child's personality.
Thank you for a lovely healthy breakfast this morning. Served very efficiently. Perfect poached eggs. Lovely smooth hot coffee. Friendly and professional service. Used to come here when I worked at Lindsay House across the road. It was then an oasis in the day. Still the same. Customer focused. I'll be back.

On my own. Last minute decision to have a breakfast. In and out in 30 minutes my choice I wasn't rushed. Deluxe breakfast, American, 2 rounds of toast for £8. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and service. Reliable and dependable.
