The Brewers Lodge is brimming with country charm and its own wonderful unique character, giving you a warm sense of welcome from the moment you arrive. A short distance from some of the region's most beautiful woodland, the lodge is nevertheless within easy reach of the cities of Newport, Cardiff and Bristol. There are 15 modern en suite rooms, each with tea/coffee making facilities and satellite TV. Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout. Brewers Lodge is renowned throughout the local area for its high-quality food, first-class service and relaxed atmosphere. Pet friendly bar and garden on a lead at all times Mynydd view suite available to hire catering for weddings, parties, wake, and baby showers.
Arrived here roughly about 17.00, we were given our key to our room. Room was comfortable, and put our case in then went down to the bar. It was a very nice feel in the bar. The staff were very helpful.
My room very clean. Bed comfy slept very well. Hive of activity next morning with staff cleaning inside and the grounds.nWalked to Tesco about 5mins to get something for breakfast as they don't serve it.nHad the Sunday Carvery with friends which was very tasty but could have been hotter.nWill definitely be returning.
This is 6 times I have been here now in about 2 years. The staff members are amazing here, really friendly, kind. The food is amazing. it just depends on who the cook is. One day, I had the chicken burger. omg, it was amazing. It was cooked properly and very tasty, and the chips were nice and crispy, and the onion ring's two, but the next day I had the beef burger, it was outstanding, and the chips and onion ring's was soggy and not crispy at all was a let down, The beef lasagne was ok not a lot of flavor taste like shop bought, its nice and cheap here, you have nice views of the Valley from here, by far the best thing here it's the Sunday Carvery
Great establishment, lovely service. Manager is very accommodating. Would definitely stay again. Thanks nOnly reason I marked the room down, is the bathroom suite and deco is a bit tired.
