It was OK... service wasn't fast, but wasn't particularly slow either, although the queue for ordering seemed to take a while... order at the bar after being given a table. Kids meals was 3 courses for £4.99 and the adults meals average about £10, so not very cheap but certainly not expensive either. Staff seemed friendly enough and place itself was again fairly average in terms of tidiness and decor. Food was fine, nothing terrible - we had some kids meals, ultimate filled Yorkshire and sweet potato curry.
Just been for lunch ... staff busy eager to assist. Kids play area was good however our food wasn't, Garlic & herbs mushrooms burnt, all food cold, child desert took a long while , it was ice-cream!! Toilets, handryer not working in ladies and no replacement hand dry towels, toilet seat broken in ladies, dated decor in ladies. They have only self service coffee, it wasn't great. It's the 2nd time there and my last as its not improved Vegetarian options: Could have more options ir even a vegan menu, they have everything else menu Kid-friendliness: Great play area Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair access Dietary restrictions: We had vegetarian & allergy folder . Would be better having allergy detailed with symbols on the menu
Amazing experience for our family, tasty fresh and delicious food had been served fast and professionaly. Have got family friendly separate area and four toilets.
Visited on Bank Holiday Sunday evening and not too crowded at that time. Very friendly and welcoming greeting. Service was friendly at bar where food and drinks were ordered, and excellent cocktails. Food was excellent, a smothered platter was incredible value and had a perfectly cooked rump steak as part of it and was around £13 it was delicious, Victoria had Scampi chips and peas, everything was very hot, fresh and nicely presented. Toilet facilities were not so good, looked like they needed not only a clean but also a refurbishment.
We have visited numerous times since early summer to take advantage of their incredibly good breakfast offer. Food is always plentiful, hot and presented well. Team are visible, polite and efficient. Breakfast for a family of 5 for under £20 is fantastic value. Highly recommend!
The food was very nice, although some bits of my food were luke warm compared to the other bits I had the mushroom chicken diane thing, it was still delicious, just wouldve been even better if it was hot. No complaints from the other half with his mahoosive fish & chips.
I’ll be honest I got sent a free main meal voucher and haven’t been in years. We had 2 madri £9.10 and one main free, partner had already eaten. Staff very friendly and chatty, kids shrieking with excitement in the indoor play area. Great family atmosphere and good food, prices close to McDonald’s and so definitely worth coming and dining in. Kid-friendliness: Free in door play area
After taking longer to place our food order than I think it should have done, I had to go over the selections a number of times, one drink was missed and the member of staff walked away. Once I managed to attract his attention he first disputed I has asked for the drink and therefore had not paid for it. On checking the receipt it was clear I had. After this I should have checked the rest of the order! When the starters arrived one sharing starter had not been included on the order, at this point it was agreed it was too late to order a replacement. I will say of the 4 adult mains ordered, 2 were good, 1 was OK but the trio of mini pies were no more than average, at best. It arrived with mash instead of the chips that were ordered. The pastry had been described as crispy, but was soft as it the pies had been microwaved. The menu had also described 3 different pie flavours, beef, lamb and chicken. I am sure that 2 of them were the same. It was disappointing.
Awful. Boxing day dinner and we get told that certain things weren't on the menu so they basically decided to choose our main meal for us without asking what we would like. They brought over a roast dinner, surprise for us as it wasn't what we ordered. There wasnt much choice at all from the boxing day menu so we had to ask for a burger instead. Which they couldn't get right either as they brought out something completely different for my partner. So I had to eat my dinner as my partners was being cooked. Considering the boxing day menu was £21 each, we actually ended up eating an ordinary burger with chips only no onions rings or coleslaw, a starter and a pudding. We had already paid for this so called festive menu, which turned out to be paying for two overpriced burgers that you can actually buy from the 'two for £9.49 offer' but we weren't able to change it. The staff were not helpful in the slightest. It was disgraceful. The worst dinner experience I've had and the most expensive, and I can certainly say I won't be coming here again.
Great place to have a meal. If you get a window table you can look out to see, as it's just across the road from the eaterie. Staff very good and on the ball. Food very good. I hope I will be able to eat there again.Food: 5/5
