Warning, this place has non existent customer service from the get go with one exception which I will explain later. Firstly when you walk in the door you feel so uninvited by all members of the staff, all you see is a sign about finding your own seat and order at the bar, so both me and my mum hunt for seat and then FINALLY we get a welcome by the only lovely member of staff, who for the life of me I cannot remember your name but your the only genuine member of staff. I ordered and went back to our seat, and here are some observations. Firstly I was seeing female member of staff who I think she was manager as to how she was behaving and what she wore, with a notable dejected face on her which came across cold and like she did not want to work today, she clears the table next to us and leaves it and then only when new customers sits she goes over and cleans it without making a genuine apology. Then when the same female member of staff passes us our meal, Fish and Chips with Gravy and Tomato Sauce. I cannot even remember if did not even say enjoy your meal or make a genuine effort in saying to enjoy it, I honestly felt like I was Number which we were as we were table 32 and we never ever had a check back by asking if we were enjoying our meals. Honestly the service was appalling by this woman. Then I was waiting and better waiting as around 4 or 5 members of staff were walking by and NEVER took our finished dirty dishes away so I had to go back up and ask for service to present me with my dessert and low and behold they got my order wrong!!! Put on the wrong sauce on my dessert (profiteroles) however it was presented by the only genuine woman the same woman who was at the the bar when ordering HOWEVER she quickly sorted out the issue and I must say that was to her credit! But overall I WILL NOT be returning again and I WILL NOT be recommending this place to anyone. Do yourself a favour and GO TO HALBEATH HARVESTER where your WILL get EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE with STAFF who ACTUALLY care for you. Thank you for taking your time to read this review.

Love this place. Very child friendly also not noisy so good for adults as well. Great play area for kids. Mon_fri 2 main meals 8.99 great value for money

Food was terrible Concrete Yorkshire pudding Charcoal burgers Incorrect orders Portion sizes exaggerated on menu And shortchanged on portion £60 on a family of 4 including the theatrics of children running wild with no supervision Short staffed in soft play. The poor girl was severely overworked while wait staff in restaurant lounged about and dragged feet. Kudos to this staff member had a smile on. Management should hang their heads in shame. And the chefs need an education. Again kudos to the lovely member of staff who ran the soft play area well. Honestly wish I had went elsewhere.

I have been here for ages now and i just love it delicious food play place for kids and a cafe bit there is a huge amount of food to pick from there us buffers and cold food u could pick from either one

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. The whole place is really rundown and in need of some major TLC. There was no draught drinks available and they were only offering bottles which cost more and they had ran out of all diet options. The food was mediocre at best and poorly presented and looked and tasted dry. The kids food was awful and look as if it had been extremely overcooked. The children only ate the chips as the pasta and hotdogs were horrible. Also the kids play area had no heating on at all and was freezing and there was only one member of staff manning the area who kept leaving to assist with serving food and drinks in the main eating area and it generally seemed unsafe and unmanned. If something had happened to any child at any point there would be no staff to assist parents with first aid or general help. Also when we received our food there was no dressing on the salad and we had to chase this up twice. Also when we went to order our food and drinks we had to wait nearly 10 mins to be served at the till as there was only one member of staff serving customers whilst the other 3 stood around doing nothing and the poor girl looked completely flustered by the whole situation. Extremley poorly managed eating establishment and not what we expected from such a large chain of eateries. Totally disappointed in our visit and we will not be back again.
