The food was actually nice, but I can't recommend a place where the portions were tiny, and the prices so high. £5 orange juice and £11 pancakes that were so small even my 5 y/o asked for more. It also had 'fried banana' that they forgot fry. If you have a lot of money and eat small portions, or like to sit and have a coffee somewhere, then this place would be fine though.

This cafe has a lot going for it but needs to sort out how it caters for those with food allergies for brunch. My friend is coeliac and despite the large menu there was no gluten free bread, or even appreciation of what gluten free really meant from the waitress, who wrote everything down on a tiny post it note and then had to come back as she couldn’t read her own writing. No dairy free smoothies either. What we ordered was good and for those without allergies it’s a decent enough choice. Very busy at midday on Sundays - recommend trying 1pm instead when quieter.

After a period of menu changes and a face lift Brew has turned a corner and returned to its former glory. Wonderful and different breakfasts with staff who smile and genuinely seem to enjoy their work.

A good place for breakfast and coffee in Wimbledon, and is quite busy at times. Eggs Benedict were good, but slightly more sauce would have been nice. Went back recently and sampled their 2 course meal (with option of 3rd course). I was slightly disappointed by the starter, which only contained traces of lamb, and by the main, which was a particularly chewy minute steak. 4star reduced to 3 star review. Oh, and I learned of the owner's attitude towards cyclists. Poor.

Nice atmosphere. Average food, average drink and average staff. I came into Brew at approximately 9am on a Friday morning. It was very quiet which was nice and the atmosphere was very nice. Looking at the menu everything sounded delicious but the prices are ridiculous. I got a cinnamon spiced latte and the avocado, chorizo and feta on sourdough. The latte was okay but just an overpriced latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. The food was extremely salty, to the point where I could not finish it. The staff where very nice when serving however seemed more interested in the girls that were getting takeaway coffee. The added surcharge at the end was a bit irritation with the already high prices but it is stated on the menu that there is a charge. Overall will probably not be back as there are so many other cafés on the high street that are much cheaper and have nicer drink and food and staff.
