The service was amazing up until it came to the dessert, the woman behind the bar put table 40 instead of 41 and when I informed her she forgot to tell kitchen staff. So we sat waiting an hour for our puddings. One of the waitresses kindly have us drinks as a apology. The dessert came out and the waffle was like plastic as though it was reheated along with the brownie pieces this applied to mine and my mother's dessert. Like i said the main was amazing and up till that point it was enjoyable, the rating would have been 5 if the results of the dessert haven't had happened or at least halfway if the item was reheated.

We had our First Aid course here recently. Some of our group ordered food and it was absolutely fabulous. The menu is really good. The portions are big enough and we really enjoyed our visit. The staff are really friendly and made us all feel welcome.

Chose to go to this pub because the menu looked great. Went to order drinks for my family and he filled the colas for my oldest kids just over half full. Biting my lip I ordered a pint of cider and the man behind the bar filled my drink but left maybe an inch and a half. This was the first problem. I asked for a top up and the man said he was unable and said that that is a pint. I refused and stated that it is a “pint” glass to which he stated because of the curvature of the glass it was a pint which I found rediclous. I told the man I spent 10 years in weatherspoons to which he said he would fill it up for me this time and then had the cheek to say it was what his auditors advised however, due to being low on stock should not be at the customers expense. My wife ordered a martini to which he said he didn’t have a shaker. Upon finally ordering I ordered a mother plucker to which he said he had no southern fried chicken, this was the last straw, I finished my drink got my family and left to which we went to the homestead down the road which is my local always perfect service. If you are in the area go to Homestead and don’t bother with the stupidity of the staff at the Brentwood.

Speed of food service A++ ordered a huge steak an Mrs had a burger meal. Good pub grub. Ordered at the bar day down an it came out no later than 10min later...blew me away, I've known to wait over an hour for same food at flaming grill in wath. Friendly staff and nice calm atmosphere too.

Excellent food But the staffing levels are very low. Memo for next year get more staff in for mothers day. 2 bar staff isn't enough for future reference.
