We very much enjoyed our one night stay at Pointers. Booked via Airbnb.  Both David and Eileen were very accommodating.  We had the family room, and our own private bathroom adjacent to our room, with both bath and a shower and plenty of towels and a few soaps, gels and lotions. Both of these were very comfortable and I had the best night sleep ever. We had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and our kids enjoyed the complimentary biscuits.  Breakfast was amazing, we selected what we wanted the night before and a time of arrival and we sat in the beautiful conservatory overlooking their beautiful gardens. The choices were great and the food was amazing.  We didn't explore the gardens, though as we'd definitely come again, we hope to then.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at short notice & we’re so pleased this is where we ended up. A friendly welcome, clean comfortable room & a delicious breakfast each morning, couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for a relaxing stay!Rooms: 5/5

This was our second visit to Pointers not at all disappointed. David and Eileen very welcoming as was expected . Room was clean and spacious ,everything was there for you. Breakfast was well worth  100% top marks. Both hosts very helpful ,thanks to David he sorted out an issue with my car. Quiet and peaceful, gardens well kept and tidy. We both have tried to find something to complain about no chance. Cannot wait for our next visit. Ron and Sarah

Amazing. The views were lovely, the owners kind, helpful and welcoming. They give you a homely feeling. They make sure to comply perfectly with Covid regulations and that’s a plus. The room was spacious clean and very comfortable, with books and even a puzzle for our little one. I hope I can go back soon, definitely a relaxing and overall fantastic stay.

David and Eileen were very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious with lovely views.  The bathroom was well appointed with bath and shower.  Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The area is tranquil.  There is plenty of parking. There was a wide selection for breakfast - from cereals and fruit to a choice of cooked items which included eggs from hens on the property and tomatoes grown in the owner's greenhouse - all freshly cooked for each guest. It would difficult to find a better guest house.

The wife and I spent three nights at the end of August, The accommodation was clean and first class as was the breakfast.   The room contained every thing you would need and the breakfast menu excellent - the scrambled egg with smoked trout highly recommended.   We enjoyed our stay.Rooms: 5/5

Clean, spacious, wonderful breakfasts the food tasted sooo nice, i recommend the scrambled eggs with trout. Peaceful when the dogs aren't barking it is also a kennel! Friendly owners but got the impression they prefer older guests or guests without children but they were friendly to us all, theres just not anything to do for kids, i felt like mine couldn't go out in the garden and run around so we kept them indoors which was a shame as the weather was lovely. Well run and organized to the point of military precision, i did wonder if he was ex-military. Not enough hot water for more than 2 showers though, they need a bigger boiler. Paying was confusing, no-one about when we left, just a receipt with the full balance printed so we thought we'd payed in full through booking.com and we left, only to receive a phone call from him to come back and pay the balance!!! Which we did, he explained we weren't the first to do that!!! They need to sort this out, either pay through booking.com or through him, but not both.

Absolutely lovely owners, will go above and beyond for their guests! Rooms are beautiful and very tidy. And the location is stunning. Could not have had a better experience staying there.
