Stayed overnight as had training course following day. From the outside the hotel looks nice and quaint. Reception looks modern although reception staff not very welcoming. The decor in the hotel is a bit dated and could be doing with a freshen up. Bar meal menu was limited with only 3 starters available and was like going back in time with the choices being prawn cocktail, soup or artisan bread and butter. Would only stay again if had too.

Top class. Lovely building. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds with very fluffy pillows. Great corner bath and powerful shower. Lovely staff. Great night sleep. Food was also lovely. The one small blemish was the lack of communication at evening meal.

We stayed at the Bredbury for 6 nights. The historic scenery was gorgeous. The hotel service was poor. They never left enough towels and were very slow to respond to requests. On Friday night we couldn't sleep because the hotel was so noisy. On Saturday morning the whole hotel smelled strongly of beer and the floors were sticky in the common areas. The shower had no shower curtain, which made it very difficult to shower.  The entire hotel was extremely handicap inaccessible.

Reception staff very welcoming. Room was large and clean. Ideal place to stay for a night whilst on business in the area.

Was very good for a venue, rooms perhaps a bit small for if you have a lot of people going mind. Other than that, food and place its Self was very good with plenary of on site park I g
