Recently I was treated at the MIU for wasp stings, which resulted in swelling and blisters. I was seen very quickly. The nurses were very kind and professional. We are very fortunate to have such excellent facilities in Brecon. My sincere thanks to all involved.
Brecon miu were amazing when I gashed my arm after a fall. My wound was 4cm x 1cm, painful and ugly. The team were amazing with Gareth having stitched my arm within an hour of the accident and 2 darling nurses over the next 10 days having redressed and stitch removal of the wound being so caring and kind. What would we do without this facility in this area? Brilliant. Thank you so very much miu x
Brought my seven year old son into minor injuries after he slipped and split his chin open paddling in the Usk. We were in and out in under forty minutes and the nurse Kim and student nurse Sam who saw him were wonderful. Thank you!!
My wife attended here this morning with an injured wrist. From the welcoming receptionist , nurse Gareth and radiologist Gareth. All staff were outstanding! Treated so kindly and efficiently if only all hospitals were like this. Such a clean and smart hospital, truly a shining example.
Attended the department after a 111 referral, even though my issue was medical and not minor injuries. The incredibly helpful nurse's booked me in and made sure I was seen by a doctor. I can't stress how much I appreciate the care and concern I was shown during my visit. Well done Brecon hospital from the receptionist to the nurse's, thank you. The one nurse was an Ebbw Vale girl, the other had a Dalmatian, their names I have forgotten apologies for that.
