Lovely sandy beach, car park run by the National Trust, members park free.Friendly informative staff in the hut. Cafe very nice, welcome dogs a bonus. Haven't used the verandah overlooking the beach but will when they weather warmer.
Parking is £6 for day at National Trust cafe. Watch out for the tides, as sand can be almost like quicksand.nOtherwise, huge beach with a great view & decent cafe.
Nice walks on the beach and on the headland down to the Fort.Pleanty of cafes and restaurants.Need to bee prepared for change in weather as got wet and cold walking on the headland to the trig stone.2 ways up either by steep steps or gentle follow the road.
