I had my sons birthday party here in the council chamber! Our venue cancelled last minute and we found this with only 2 days left to our sons event! The staff were extremely kind and understanding to the circumstances and had a very good attitude! We didn’t think it would all fit in but it did & ended up being amazing! It is a great space and my son had an amazing day! : highly recommend!
Good place for celebration, parties, community events. Ample parking lot. Reachable by bus. Neat and clean. Can accommodate around 200 - 300 ppl.

Fantastic hall with a stage, space for loads of people. But we found the major problem was Because it is a residential area they have a sound monitor Which cuts off The music when it gets to a certain level Which is such a put off for a party. Otherwise it's a great hall to hire.
Great place and would be 5 star but for some inexplicable reason the Bars last orders are 9.30pm during the week !!!nSurely this much needed hospitality bar within the Civic Centre is not living up to its expectations for those it serves and warrants a review.nIf not remedied soon I fear it will lose more customers and suffer long term irreparable damage ?nnOmnishambles sums the situation up !
