I was booked for a Hollywood Wax with Stephanie. I typically go elsewhere a bit further from home but thought I'd try this place as it was closer. What a mistake. At first she was not very communicative or behaving normally, she didn't make eye contact or speak very much if at all.  The room I was taken to was dark, underground and was not clean. There was no ambient sound or music and the beautician worked in silence. I started a conversation to be polite/so that it was less awkward, though this is really her job not mine! The wax was painful and areas of hair were left. She did ask to check if I was happy with it but getting up to examine your vagina is a bit weird so I just said yes. I didn't realise how much hair was actually left. And I don't think simply asking if the customer is ok with it is good enough as I'd booked and prepaid for a Hollywood Wax, which means full removal of hair.  She then asked me to turn completely onto my front and "hold the cheeks open." I was a bit startled as the other place I go to ensure the beautician is in full view the whole time but this time I was facing a wall and had hot wax applied. I was uncomfortable but she kept saying not to move and "do not let go, whatever you do don't let go." She then spent 5minutes doing I don't know what.  At this point it hit me that she is either recording me or taking photos of me. She finally removed the hair and left the room. I turned to find a small blob of cream and some cotton pad she'd told me to wipe down with. That couldn't have taken her five minutes.  I feel completely violated. Stay away!!!

Booked through treatwell as my usual salon Beauty By Shereece was not available at that time. Highly regret it as 1 the appointment was double-booked so we were two girls trying to get a wax at a specific time and couldn't reschedule, 2 the wax didn't even start at 10 as the girls opened the salon at 10, and they needed 10mins to get the wax ready, 3 the wax itself was rushed and used a mixture of hot and cold wax which is extremely unpleasant and leaves a painful feeling, 4 small talk was not on the table and the girl didn't even try to make the overall experience nicer for me, 5 on top of it all, they do not accept card and I had to walk outside to get cash.... Only £25 compared to the usual £35+ but you really do get what you pay for! Will not come back

Would NOT recommend this place. Came here for the first time with my friend on Tuesday as my friend had treated me for my bday .The owner was very rude. Called to say we were gonna be late for appointment due to train power supply but when we got there felt like we got told off which was NOT professional at all.  Felt like i was back at school was humiliating if im honest. She made it seem like they were closing but however on the leaflet it says they close at 6pm but online it says 8pm.. Very strange as my app was at 5 and we were only10 mins late made it sound like someone was after me when there was no one booked in :/ Second of all as i had a Keratin treatment it was not explained so i was not sure what was being done but when i asked owner/receptionist as she was the only person that spoke english she seemed so fed up of what i wanted to know. huffy and puffy she was.  I had the right to know what was being done to my head. It should of been spoken through. As soon as the owner saw how long my hair was she straight away charged my friend who treated me for the length of my hair. She clearly couldnt wait to take the money as we just got there lol  Also as they kept speaking their own language and having their own conversations which i did not understand i found that to be very rude as i did feel like they probably were discussing me. I really do not find that to be professional.  However, only gave one star for the lovely lady who done my hair, as she does not speak english she tried her best and looked after me so thank you to her.

I had my wax done by Taiane.She has a lovely personality and makes you feel very comfortable. My waxing has been minimal pain. I will book with Taiane again as soon as I need a treatment :

I recommend the waxing, the staff are not much chatty and experienced.  Have to add, the last time i went, when i said the wax was too hot, the lady acted like i was making it up, telling me 'touch it, it's not hot, you're sensitive' only that one lady really gives you the full 'hot wax' experience.

Love them here - Everyone if friendly and helpful. My hair was washed cut and blow dryed amazingly well - I have difficult mixed afro hair and braulio was fantastic! Reasonably priced too.

Stephanie was absolutely fantastic as a full body masseuse, the was thorough, listened to everything I asked, and was delightful to be around. I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. I cannot wait to go back, as this will be my regular from now on! :

Questionable?? Not sure what to make of the reception I received. Treatment wasn't bad but it's a place that will leave you wondering what you've walked into... He or she does it matter? Friendly or rude? Professional or back street service?? Try before you buy and maybe get a taste of  an underground Brazilian salon!
