Been playing here since I was a kid, love this course, even though I've moved out of the area, and play arguably "better" courses now. First time back for 3 years. Lots of rain so the course was quite boggy, but the greens were in good nick and I played pretty well.
Played 18 holes on 13th June 2018, really enjoyable, course was in great condition and the greens were well maintained. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. I used virtually every club in my bag, a good test for the average golfer. As a visitor I found it quite difficult to navigate my way round the course due to the lack of signage. Other than that it was great. Would recommend.
Brilliant golf course. Well looked after and great fun to get around. I myself am disabled and took advantage of the £20 hire for the buggy. 18 holes of beautiful scenery and a challenging course hadn't played golf in years but had a laugh and didn't hate it. Good cafe and shop definetly worth a visit. £17 a round that's less than a pound per hole...
Really rated this course . I'm gutted because it was the only 18 hole in the local area. Thanks council for getting rid I'm sure your block of apartments will look a lot better. Great course and so very sad to see it go.
A fantastic little club. We were invited to host an event last night, we loved every moment. The staff / management are perfect and the members are wonderful people who know how to really have a great time. Thanks for having us. The M&M Roadshow Team
Best municipal in the Midlands I've played just lacks rakes for bunkers things you'd expect from a private course but you get what you pay for staff are very friendly and accommodating great deals to be had on teeofftimes too.
Decent course. I don't play often but it catered for players of all abilities with a decent little club house. The cafe did a good breakfast aswell.
Great course and quite cheap to play, very enjoyable, seems sandwell are selling it of to housing developers so go play it before it's gone forever.
Having my lessons here with Carl he is a fantastic instructor would definitely recommend him for lessons and the golf course is amazing
Lovely home made sandwich with a choice of filling and a refreshing cup of coffee. Friendly staff. Just what was needed when it was pouring it down.
