Stopped off for a look at the vintage shop and a walk up the fields with our two dogs. We stayed for coffee and cake, also took take-out sandwiches for later. Food excellent and well packaged. The Cafe has great table service, a must if you have dogs. Dog friendly outside area. . Parking: Lots of parking areas either next to the shop and cafe, or in the adjacent field. Wheelchair accessibility: Level site. LP
Lovely cafe and antique shop, really dog friendly as well. Gorgeous scones Food: 5/5
Lovely little farmhouse café is a gorgeous countryside setting. Enjoyed the bacon sandwich and coffee. Pretty good value and friendly staff.
Lovely location and plenty parking. Popular destination for cylists. Not a huge selection to choose from in terms of breakfasts but do a sausage and bacon butty. Serve hot drinks too. Staff were lovely.Food: 3/5
Stopped by here to go on a dog walk as states dog friendly. Went in the cafe can't fault staff were friendly... but ruined by the antiques shop owner who thought it ok to swear at me my mam and sister. On leaving the cafe from the back entrance there was a bike with an old basket on placed against the fence which looked like part of the decor. I put my puppy in the basket and was verbally attacked by this beast of a man. The other people around all commented on how horrible the guy is and will also not be returning!! This guy could ruin your nice little business & they already knew he was like that before he thought it ok to swear at us.
Stopped here for a coffee whilst we were out and about. Dog friendly! We had cake and a cheese scone as they were closing soon. Didn't have time to explore the dog trail or nature walk. There is also a little antique shop here.Food: 5/5
Delightful! We browsed the antiques and other items for sale, then enjoyed lunch in the onsite cafe. The prices of the antiques would suit all pockets, from high to low. The home made quiches were delicious, substantial, served with a side salad and crisps. The cakes were tasty too. Looking forward to a return visit.
Good menu, pleasant staff. Photo is bacon, egg and mushroom breakfast bun. Very tasty. Some interesting food, sweets, drink in the shop. 26/08/18 - Another visit, this time had the breakfast, all tasted good but especially the bacon. Again staff friendly and helpful. 2/9/18 Another visit, another great breakfast, collected a piece of rhubarb crumble and custard cake for later 25/3/19 Don't usually visit on a weekday and now I know not to. We all enjoyed various breakfast options arriving just within the 11:30 deadline. The usually peaceful atmosphere was unfortunately ruined by a party of 4 or 5 couples who proceeded to wander around waving menus and be loudly and endlessly amused by the term "pie of the day". Presumably they aren't allowed out very often! 21/4/19 Another great breakfast :-
Surprised us when calling in for a bite. Nice Sandwich, helpful staff and a great little curio shop. Recommend
Random find whilst on a road trip adventure. My SO is Coeliac so often finds it difficult to find anything to eat however was pleasantly suprised by the GF Scone whilst I opted for a coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. If ever in the area again, we would definitely return. Dietary restrictions: Some GF option for cake/scones/biscuits etc both home made and packeted Parking: Easy access parking for approximately 20 cars with an extended carpark for tourers/campers as there is a caravan park here
