Giving 2 stars because they messed up in delivery. Ordered cupcakes as a birthday present for a friend. While placing an order, I had mentioned delivery date as 28 Nov as my friend was available only on 28 Nov. But delivery was made on 26 Nov which I never asked for a reason.

Ordered cupcakes and a balloon for mother's day. When parcel arrived, there was one cupcake in the box and that's all - no balloon no nothing. I kept chasing this issue up with the company who kept delaying the investigation. I sent all photos as requested. After 4 1/2 weeks they decided to get back to me and insinuate I was lying - sorry but didn't know you followed the whole parcel during the journey and saw everything!! The delivery company lied that they spoke to me and I apparently said that I had received everything - which is a pure lie and anything for either of them to get out of refunding my money! So not only did it ruin my Mother's surprise on the special day but they are refusing to give me a refund. They want to send a replacement out but the dummies do not realise that Mother's Day has NOW GONE!!!! Strongly advise not to order from here as they are a small company who diddle people out of their money!

I wanted some Belgian chocolate covered strawberries delivered as a Valentines day gift for my boyfriend and after spending ages searching, found this company whose strawberries looked perfect. I placed an order which I was given a delivery time for. Unfortunately when the strawberries were delivered the box was left the wrong way up outside my house and the strawberries were in a bad state and were inedible. I let the company know and they were quick to apologise and send out a replacement box, which arrived in fantastic condition, they even made sure the box was clearly labelled so it wouldn't be left on its side. I sometimes think something going wrong with an order is an ideal opportunity for a company to show how they handle problems, and this was handled very quickly and efficiently. Very impressed,  would definitely recommend.

The low ratings are absolutely true. Cupcakes arrived damaged and flattened. When I contacted customer services, they blamed the courier company and my reception, in attempt to remove all liability from themselves. There were no labels on the box saying that there were cupcakes/perishables inside so how could they expect my reception to know this. Also, the taste of the cupcakes were definitely not worth the price paid. Ate one to try it but I would return the rest if I could. DO NOT waste your money on them!

Very straightforward ordering experience! I ordered afternoon afternoon tea set for my friends birthday, who lives in Glasgow. Shipped on time and delivered in perfect condition, plus it tasted great according to her!

Please be aware that specifying a Monday delivery does not guarantee that your order will arrive on that day. It appears that Bradfords has no control over when orders are delivered by their couriers over the weekend into Monday. So my order was delivered on a Saturday when the recipient was away on holiday. Apparently this is made clear at the checkout but I didn't see it, and confirmation emails clearly stated that my gift would be delivered on the Monday as requested.

Ordered for next day delivery which was confirmed however the caked did not turn up. I chased to see what had happened No-one came back to me to tell me that they were going to be late they told me that the driver was not in the area that is DPD in central London so the driver would try again the next day. I refused. its fresh produce and then, they said that they would resend a fresh batch. That was delivered and hat was 1 day short of a week late. Very disappointing

Received the box of donuts today on the arranged day courier service was great and the donuts are lovely and fresh. The box was a little shook up in transit but it had been well packed and labeled I would definitely use there service again.  Only slight bit of notice is the fact that the donuts had been moved around but unless the company changes the box so each donut is secured there's notuch anything you could so to solve this

I can't praise Bradford Bakers & Gift highly enough! When I placed my order online with them I gave an address but on the day of delivery I found that the person to receive the gift was going to be at a different address. As the gift had already been dispatched they immediately offered a replacement gift to be sent the following day to another address at no extra charge other than the postage of £3.95! Their customer service is more than excellent, it's exceptional, a rareity I find these days, and their products are simply delicious. I ordered for 4 different sites as it was a staff event for the whole organisation,  only 2 sites had a delivery, I spent hours chasing the deliveries , making calls and sending emails both to DPD and Bradfords. I understand that occasionally things get lost in the post and I know this is even worse with DPD, I was patient and understanding. What I don't understand is the fact that I have had to wait a month for a refund, I have spent time and effort trying to call and sent a number of emails to customer service, I have never been contacted back, no apology no offer for an explanation. the only contact was a confirmation from the external payment company to say that a refund is being processed 4 and a half weeks after the fact. This ruined the event and upset a lot of staff .DISOPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATMENT.  My Organisation will never use this company again.
