As we have an electric car, this review is for the bp shop, not for the actual petrol. After going in the WH Smith’s in the services building and then straight into the BP shop I realised they both have exactly the same things, offers and even price tags so obviously smith actually stock/run this shop. It had a good selection of meal deals, costa express machine and other snacks. Plus a few motoring essentials. Oh and ice creams, vital for a hot day like when we visited.
AVOID REFILLING YOUR FUEL HEREnnI've just spent 3 weeks driving around most of the UK for work and yet this petrol station topped it all for price. 176.6 per litre. Higher than London prices.nnI put 20 in and said to the guy behind the counter I would have filled only for the disgusting price. He said he knew that people was saying it to him all day everyday.nnI would like to know why? UK PIA tells me UK average is approx £1.50 per litre this week. Every other station around you follows this but not you.nnSad to be taking advantage of people during a cost of living crisis.

Standard petrol station off a motorway. Bit of a way from the slip road.
Pulled in today to pump 7 98 unleaded and more fuel was coming out of the junction of the hose than was going into my vehicle. Not only was this dangerous as fuel was going all over me and a hot engine but I actually paid for the petrol on the floor. Very bad service that was largely ignored when I explained to the young lad in the checkout.
