Very convenient location for refilling fuel with lorry. The worst thing is if you have to do it in the night, as the worker who does the night shift, especially tonight and the last 2 days, is being not only rude, but arguing as well why he is disturbed to start the pumps when he has to do his side jobs and to refill with beans the coffee machines. Unbelievable, that you have to wait every night at least 10 min, for the same issue. Shame for the management if they can't find reliable employees like the ones working days. Spoiled service. Avoid guys during the night.
Yet another HGV hating services. HGV parking has been greatly reduced even though parking before was a problem due to it getting full. Now even worse.
Totally unacceptable... the ATM here charges £1.99 to take out £10..This is Blatant Robbery.. The air for tyres costs £1 minimum despite the cost of fuel being horrendous.. Also no toilets, so you are forced to drive back out the services and back in, to go to the main building for the toilets.
When asking for food and coffee with my fuel was greeted with the comment of really? So I decided to leave your overpriced additions, maybe need to look at either some extra staff or somebody prepared to do their job during busy periods.
Just a quick fuel stop on the way back from Heathrow and a chance for a hot chocolate and a cup of tea. The Hot chocolate was excellent, top quality, nice and frothy and very chocolaty as opposed to being mostly milk and no more expensive than a Costa. The seating area was clean and well presented. The disabled toilet was not very clean, the seat was too loose to use without risk of falling. Parking was not too bad, lots of disabled parking outside. Fuel prices were not too expensive a few pence per litre more than would normally be expected.
Staff were lovely when we accidentally put the wrong fuel in, including checking on us, making sure we were getting sorted. Thank you
Pumps do not auto shut off and end up spilling about £20 of diesel, I covered what I could with the sand to hand & informed the attendant who didn't seam bothered at all, be cautious when filling up here.
Ugly, noisy and jam packed with humans and their cars even on a Monday lunchtime. Staff at the food outlet did their best to cope but got our simple order wrong. Taps in the toilets were either not working at all, or stuck on full flow, wasting water. Five of the 10+ toilets I could see through open stall doors were smeared with fecal matter.
Hgv Parking gets quite full early, but other than the usual service station smell it not a back place to stay. Showers are OK and good food outlets. Parking is 16 or 18 pound for 24 hour.
Quite small for a service station location. Has a Costa Express inside along with limited produce as small space.
