I used the car wash here, paint work all fine before the wash and scraped off on the front of the car by the windscreen afterwards. Reported this to the garage, had to make a special trip back to honiton to show the damage. Then had to fill in a form. 2 1/2 months later after a lot of chasing I got an email saying it wasn’t the car wash, we won’t help you. The fact remains that the car was fine before the car wash and damaged afterwards but I can’t prove it. I would recommend avoiding this garage, unless you also want to have the worlds most expensive car wash.
30/03/24 have to say Rebecca was brilliant today, my car oil warning light came on, I had no idea which oil I needed etc. Took my book in, Rebecca helped me identify the oil and came out to the car and checked it with me. Really helpful, calm professional and helpful even though she had a busy shop. Thank you.
time 00.45/ date April 5. A few customers are waiting to enter but the doors are closed. Is that 24h open? I think so! I see from a distance that they are allowed to enter. I reach the door and the doors are closed. I look at the employees inside, one in the bakery and one in the market and I don't understand why they don't leave the doors open. I waited for some time for the doors to open but no one came. I used to fill up from you often and do my shopping with bp card but this will be the last time I use that gas station.
Long queue in the shop - as usual these types of fuel stations really want to be supermarkets so when someone comes in to do a weekly shop the tills get overwhelmed and grind to a halt. They should have one till just for petrol customers! Fuel was eyewateringly expensive
Great stop off when heading East. Good selection of food and drinks. Wild Bean coffee too. Plenty of parking and usually busy on the weekend. Got 2 fast electric charge points right outside the front door and plenty of space. It’s like premium parking with the blue floor paint… There is an Aldi opposite if you need to grab a few bits while you top up.
One of our regular stops on the A35/A30. BP station with Marks & Spencer food outlet. We have found ideal for that last minute ready meal if running late to our destination.
My car was dirty so I bought a car wash for £8 as it had a foam prewash, not impressed for the money! I appreciate it can't get all the dirt off but won't be going there again. Not all negative though, the lady that serves me was very friendly and helpful
Avoid this petrol station like the plague. Customers frequently leave their cars at the pump for 10+ minutes while they do their shopping at the attached M&S, leading to long waits and queues stretching out onto the road.
I phoned bp honiton to ask if it was ok to pay through the window after finishing my nightshifts around 4-5 am as due to being on the vunerable covid list i cannot risk close contact with other members of the public or staff at the honiton garage. I informed the staff that i am unable to wear a mask die to a severe respiratory condition and therefore would it be ok to pay through the service window as many forecourts do. I have tried this on four occasions now and always have to explain my situation even with the same two members of staff i see each time on all occasions i am told to come into the shop and pay like everyone else and that they cannot take payment through the window, again i explain it has been agreed and let them know of my condition - eventually after much distain from the bp staff and reluctance to help me i have managed to pay for my fuel this way but i will not be doing it again. The way i was treated like a 3rd class citizen with very little help or willingness to help has left me very reluctant to ever go there again .
Just used the car wash and can honestly say may car came out 10 times worse,my windscreen and windows completely smeared with dirt and the car didn't even look like it had been touched. I've tried calling 4 times to make them aware but no answer.....Will never use again!!
