Easy to find at the end of a single track road. Unless you come through Lyme park we gave up last time Not really much parking two cars is too many and dog walkers park here. Great views and the stones are bigger than I expected. You will like them if you like that kind of thing but if not would probably not even notice that they are there. Fenced off but you can climb over the style to get in and there is a footnote explaining what they are

Little space to park opposite the stones, nice walk along the ridge and good views of Stockport and Manchester, the stones themselves are very close to the road surrounded by a little fence with a step to get in

Bowstones offers spectacular views over Cheshire and a back entrance for walkers to Lyme Park and for those cyclists amongst you a tough cul-de-sac climb.
The most stunning views wonderful park love those mega longhorn cows they are like mythological creatures I love them
A beautiful walk, just be mindful of the weather forecast as when the cloud comes in, it's a very different place, great for photography deer included!
