Lovely game of bowling. The place was clean. Staff friendly although the main desk wasn't manned the whole time. Great getting to watch some professional bowling whilst eating our food too.
Positives: The staff here are great. Really friendly and professional. Food is fresh cooked on the premises. The bar is well-stocked. The bowling alleys are well lit and well maintained. No stoppages fir blockages or breakdowns. Negatives: car park is narrow and the drains were blocked making a deep puddle alongside my parking bay. All the noise from screaming children, arcade games, piped music and the bowling lanes this place is an assault on the senses. I felt palpable relief on exiting. We had fun but I would not choose this as a venue myself.
We went as a party of 11 people across genders and 3 generations. And we all had a blast!
Booked a last minute slot to entertain our teen daughter whilst visiting the area. Modern fully automated bowling alley, the place was really busy, although we really enjoyed it try and book quieter times or when the 12+ age limit applies as are enjoyment was slightly marred by clueless uncontrolled younger children from adjancent lanes wandering onto our bowling area or parents partially blocking our lane whilst helping their little darling set up and use a ramp. Not really a fault of the bowling alley, but it will be a consideration when booking again.
Easy booking, friendly staff, not too loud. We booked the slot for 17:20 and came 20 minutes earlier. The member of staff who served us was happy to let us start play 20 minutes earlier.
