I love this place and have been going to camp there for over 20 years and now take my own children there. The owners are amazing and will accommodate most needs. They have a converted barn as a restaurant which serves the best ever cream tea but you must also try the amazing Aberdeen Angus burgers or steak. They will also do breakfast. They are now licenced as a wedding venue and i can't think of a better scenery to get married at. The views are lovely. My daughter loves helping to collect the eggs and feed the chickens and ducks. I highly recommend staying here in a tent or caravan x x

Don't miss ANY opportunity of visiting the hidden gem of Bovey's Down Farm, it's a must-have experience. A welcome like no other awaits you in the aptly-named barn, The Swallows Rest. Rustic, rugged and relaxing they serve cream teas that are second to none. Gerald and Pamela, both from multiple generations of farmers, offer knowledgeable and interesting information. Pies and pasties are literally to die for. Prebookable meals are also available.

Make memories for your memory box by visiting Bovey's Down Farm - don't just take my word for it. Go and experience the warmest of welcomes and their delicious pies to say nothing of their cream teas!

Truly a special place. Situated in beautiful Devon country side, panoramic views. Perfect caravan site and camping area. Very modern showers and toilet facilities To hold your wedding here would be my idea of a perfectly natural experience. Cream teas are the best ever., in a very friendly atmosphere.

Oh my, what an dreadful experience. Not sure about the rest of it but after what we went through l wouldn't want to try it. We love a farm camp site and just expect basic but adequate accessible facilities on these, but sadly here the camping ground does not match up to the 'Glorious' website image of being rustic and charming. Yes it has a lovely view IF (as in our experience) you like to cram your caravan on overgrown rough ground with vegetation and rubble, or in a paddock with foot high grass, or enjoy walking 150 yds down a steep muddy slope every time you need to use the loo or collect water(only tap is near the tea rooms/kitchens). If you don't mind a site that after a 3 hour drive clearly can't honour your booking because it has no suitable pitches but the owners try and squeeze you in anywhere and then get defensive and rude and just won't understand when you try to point out the issues, after which becoming aggressive and actually shouting in your face (Mr) please do book In to Boveys Down Farm. If not it's one to avoid at all costs.
