Cannot rate any lower than 5 as it's the house of ALLAH. Masjid located just a 10 min walk from pier which is excellent for visitors. No parking on site so best to just walk it or taxi. Came for Jummah so expected it to be full. However, toilet and wudhu area cleanliness was appalling. Surely as the central masjid, they can do better. The khutbah was nearly half an hour long. No consideration for little children, elderly and ladies? Plus on a hot summer day with no fans or ac. Alhamdulillah for having a big masjid around the area but massive improvements needed in-sha-allah.
I am rating five stars because it is the mosque. Mashallah it is very beautiful to be in, you feel at peace and connected whilst reading the Quran there. I enjoyed my childhood learning in this mosque and attending events when I can now. The only thing I have to say is that when I go, I feel lonely. You can hear through the ithan the amount of men and community between men whilst praying, how beautiful their prayer room is and mashallah it is incredible that this is available. But I have rarely come across the same amount of women or community between muslim women here. The prayer room isn’t as elaborate, I was just on my own praying to the sound of groups of men praying downstairs and listening to them all talk to each-other on my way down. I know this is no one’s fault and there is nothing wrong with this mosque itself, I just wish there was the same amount of effort and community for muslim women.
Alhamdulillah, this is a very nice mosque. It is only let down by the poor quality of the wudu room. It is I'm need of maintenance and repair.

Amazing experience. Glad to see there’s a section for women and girls. I went for ‘Isha and taraweeh prayers Ramadan 2022 day 17. ‘Isha was prayed at about 9:55pm, and Taraweeh followed at 10:05pm-11:50pm, including Shaf’i and Witr units. I can’t share photos obviously. Overall,
Great location, clean mosque area. Not too busy when we visited, had a baby with us but womens section was empty so I managed to pray while husband prayed downstairs while baby was free to crawl around. JazakAllah for accommodating us.
Best place for peace of mind &you will never feel homesick there
Clean, well lit. Should have had sign about parking.
